I thought I was doing ok with quarantine but then I realized I’ve started thinking of the people buried in my old village graveyard as my “friends” because I visit there so often... It may be time to rethink my definition of “ok”

I'm reading the latest Stranger Things graphic novel and I've finally come to the conclusion that Stranger Things doesn't know what in the fuck it wants to be.

As a TV series and franchise it's absolutely aimless, has no real identity and goes back and fourth between nostalgia cash-in, light-hearted urban fantasy and grimdark speculative fiction.

There's no middle ground with the series, it's so messy. Netflix knows absolutely jack shit about what they want to do with it.

I haven’t posted anything I wrote on tumblr since so long...this place is fun to enjoy and forget. I don’t have to play pretend professional here. Can be the dork I want, the nerd I am.

But I feel like I want to talk to more people here, people like me who come here to scream into the void.
