Crisis core remake is genuinely the most exciting thing to happen to me this whole year. I hope they don’t fuck up Sephiroth please gods above let me have Normal Guy TM Sephiroth… I need him to have depth as a villain, I need him to still have all the cute moments with Zack and talk about his FRIENDS and be just some guy until shit hits the fan!!

There’s something so poetically tragic about the way Zack is written in Crisis core and it shakes me to MY core.

The way the entire game he feels like he’s failing SOMEONE, first he couldn’t save angeal, then he couldn’t save Sephiroth (or Nibelheim), he could barely save genesis and he definitely didn’t save Lazard. His entire career in SOLDIER is a collection of failure after failure but the one thing he never gave up on was his dream.

There is just something so tragically beautiful about his death and the circumstances it happened under that makes me so emotional. He died a hero protecting one of the only people left in his life, his only friend left alive, he died a hero finally being able to do what the entire game was leading up to which was him achieving his dream of becoming someone’s hero.

Through out the entire game it feels like Zack is just being thrown deeper and deeper into a hole he can’t climb out of, And the last thing he does is shove cloud out of that same hole and idk abt u but that’s some good fucking writing.

Things are not always fair and that’s just the way the world works, miracles don’t always happen - And Zack’s miracle never came but he became Cloud’s miracle.

I’ve been thinking about like FF7 monster au for my favs and I’ve basically come up with this:

Zack - werewolf or some sort of weredog (Zack the puppy real)

Cloud - chocobo (this is completely self indulgent and yes I am Right)

Aerith - dragon (i love dragons she just has soo many dragon vibes)

And now my crisis core favs:

Sephiroth - snake (u KNOW he has the snake half body…)

Angeal - he feels like he’d be a phoenix… (i feel like rebirth and coming back in a different form is a pretty prominent thing with his character)

Genesis - vampire (this is basic but i stand by it he LOOKS like a vampire cmon)

If this gets ANY attention I’ll gladly make some hcs for it, send in asks if you want too I’d love to hear some opinions on this.

I’ve been a bit busy with everyday life recently so have this collection of headcanons I thought up while on the go (some are for a more domestic setting than the actual game universe):

- Angeal wearing socks with sandals.

- Sephiroth’s morning beauty care routine taking 2 hours (nobody but him sees the bathroom before 8am)

- Genesis wearing 3 layers in the summer and refusing to admit hes hot even after being rushed to the ER for heatstroke.

- Zack being a Hawaiian shirt kind of guy, with khakis.

- Cloud has trouble regulating his body temperature so he often needs blankets or cool things to heat/cool himself off properly.

This is off topic from my usual posts but with the surge of new mp100 content and all Reigen’s popular glory I have one wish for the mob pyscho 100 fandom…
