This a redraw a part of one of the pieces from the 1984 Fraggle Rock calendar! I wanted to try and recreate it since I really liked how it looked. It also gave me a chance to play around with more brushes, and play around with the character’s designs a bit, such a Wembley’s(one in air) tail hair going in all different directions to mimic his indecisiveness or Boober(one on ground) having fluffier, shinier fur(is it fur on their body…?) since he would be more likely to be particular in taking care of it with his hatred of germs and jobs involving other peoples food and laundry.

big fan of that fraggle rock animated episode where boober has a magic wishing rock and it’s never mentioned or explained how he got. he just has it.
If we're talking about scars the scar on gobo cheek and stomach were made because (I mean why should red only have scars and also I had a stomach scar)
Also iv had the idea of gobo being partially deaf in one ear (which I also have but this wouldn't make much sense) so he'll bring Wymbly with him to be his ears

That post of the photos of Gobo and Wembley just being dead (@fiddlstyx) gave me a head canon idea...
TW: talking abt scars⚠️
What if Wembley and Gobo had similar scars on their backs? W/ Wembley's being thinner bc doozer sticks are kinda sharp & thinner, and Gobo's being more from the explosion (aka burn/wood shard scars)
Context: Wembley got thrown into a doozer construction and got knocked unconscious, Gobo got caught in the expolosion of the Gorg's Castle while saving Fraggle Rock from a bomb

Btw next post is probably gonna be abt the AU I made up, it's MAJOR spoilers for the last episode of Fraggle Rock btw so if you haven't finished the show, sorry <:]
Bonus HC: what if Gobo used a cane/crutch sometimes? He did get thumped in the leg and the whole explosion probably hurt his back ,':/
