Reverse Pirate Au - Tumblr Posts
Odd thought; what might the pirate AU be like if Stan and Ford switched places? (Stan was the one captured by Bill while Ford is the captain of the Mystery and looking for revenge?) Like a reverse portal scenario but with Pirates this time?
In the 'canon' of my pirate au, Stan works terrible jobs on a lot of different ships after he's been kicked out before he commanders the Mystery to go after Bill. In this scenario, I'd say he makes the very misguided decision of joining Bill's crew. He's worked with shady people before, but had no idea just how evil Bill is.
They raid a ship, but instead of the usual pirate procedure of 'if they don't fight back we just take their stuff and leave peacefully' Bill orders them to kill the witnesses. Stan protests, and Bill supposedly kills him like Ford in the original story.
I need more of the Reverse-Pirate AU! Bonus points if it’s one of the scenes we talked about on the discord!

Honestly, @mother-ofthe-universe was the one who did most the thinking around the swap AU. I'm focusing on the main story. But we did talk a bit about the possibility of Fiddleford going with Ford (Probably as first mate?)
