Romania Is So Pretty - Tumblr Posts

Ok so I’m in Romania right now for funsies and this WHOLE time I just keep thinking of modern Alcina and reader hcs. Here are a few of them!

• Alci is absolutely OVERJOYED to take you around her country. She’s so excited to show you every single beautiful place and have you experience her culture.

• She tells you the history of EVERY SINGLE THING. Statues, castles, music, clothing, crops. Anything you can think of/ anything you have a question about she most likely has a detailed answer about it. She’s excited to tell you abt it! She wants you to learn more!!!

• She’s driving. Even if you’re a good driver (or maybe not) Alcina WILL be driving here. Whether you have to go through the flat countryside or the hairpin turns of the mountains, she is driving. I also think she drives a really nice car. Maybe a black or white Land Rover or smth like that.

• Alcina is a very safe driver, this we know, but when she’s here at home, she drives like crazy. You want to go to Constanta from Bucharest? That’s about a 2:15 hour drive (ish). Alcina will get you there in an 1.5 hours. Oh you’re going through the Transylvanian Alps? Alcina goes 90mph around every single curve because she knows the roads like the back of her hand. She doesn’t tailgate people, but she’s switching lanes all the time, flinging her hands up at people who cut her off, and she’s a very defensive driver.

• Alcina likes to stop in little teeny towns and spend money. Sometimes she will see a stand with homemade bread and jam and immediately buy some. Maybe you see a fruit market or a vegetable stall on your journey! If you tell her, she will go over and pick out the freshest fruits or vegetables grown in the seller’s backyard so you both can enjoy them.
