'the Personifications' - Iris // Light/Sight - Final Concepts
'The Personification of Light, of whom- like all senses- lacks a sense: for her, it is Sound. Not that it ever stops her; spoken language is a newer concept, and visuals have been here since the beginning.
Rarely found in the same outfit twice, always found with a large pair of glasses, and never found wearing a grey darker than silver: Iris has been known to up the brightness in the lives she enters as she governs over her purpose.'
One of the more perplexing deities, of whom hasn't been entirely fleshed out in the story yet. But her design is finalised! Or at least, one of them; she always wears her hair/outfit differently.

There was an old Game Grumps audio going around IG at one point, and our brain immediately started matching it up to the Personifications lot. So have a whole lot of swears.

'O' Fortuna, Lady Luck. At least, she tells people she's the Personification of Luck, but the other gods know what she really is.
Some gods lay low whilst governing their jurisdictions, and then some run a highly-exclusive Las Vegas casino, run around in a copy of 39-year old middle aged man's body, and keep a collection of human workers who've lost their free will in a bet.
As one does.'

'Like moths to light, the Carousel Casino lures in the most powerful members of society: those who have it all, yet crave so much more.
They often find themselves surprised, intrigued, by what greets them: a colourless domain of shapes, patterns, and staff all dressed up in twisted, Venetian-esque costumes...
It's not until they catch her eye- Fortuna, Lady Luck- that they realise just exactly where people keep disappearing to.
Well, should they lose the gamble, that is.'
The psychological horror side of the Personifications is something so dear to our heart, and god is it so fun to design. Fortuna's 'Collection': a reminder that the Personifications are still Gods no matter what they look like.

Fortuna's Collection is her pride and joy, and like a middle-aged woman adoring their tiny dog, she only wants the best for those she's blessed herself to look after.
So when they've proven themselves a particularly special entity, they may be allowed a visit from the Personification of Matter themself, and no longer do they need to spend decades in that stuffy costume!
A whole new form... a little Ascension, as a treat.~

'There's nothing like dying, and finding out that Death is a 'child' with the emotional range of a stressed & done 35 year old...
who also looks suspiciously like she came straight from Wonderland.'
we are so behind on finishing the unreleased personifications. Death, Smell, & Touch are all pretty far in their concept stage, we just haven't had the time nor energy to work on them.
'the Personifications' - Fortuna // 'Luck' & the Attendant
The God-Proprietress of the Carousel Casino is intimidating through and through, especially to those who know exactly what harsh punishments are dealt to those who lose to her. All the world is a stage, and her presence is so very demanding.
But Fortuna is also a guardian, a mother, and every act taken is made 'for their own good'. Yes, she lures in the world's most power-hungry elites, takes away their free-will, and encases them in a new in-humane shell to work for her- but if they were to make the choice to gamble, then do they really deserve the ability to make a choice at all? No. She does it to save them. And like a human bringing a stray cat into its home, she loves her collection like lesser creatures, but her companions all the same.
And so throughout the halls lined with living statues made of what used to be people, with abstract guards that only live to serve, she will give them a genuine smile, a stroke of the chin, a kiss on the cheek, to remind them that they are her chosen.
