News - Netflix has FINALLY announced a release date for their streaming English release of Sailor Moon Cosmos! The streaming platform will release both 80-minute parts on August 22, 2024, and if you search for it, you can already set a reminder. No word yet on the dub cast, but much like with Sailor Moon Eternal, we probably won't know until it goes up, and it'll most likely be the Viz dub actors. Who else is excited to finally watch this movie?!
When I saw Usagi returning home safely after being in the cauldron, and she's there with her family and Luna, a tiny trauma from my childhood was suddenly healed. It always bothered me that in the manga they go from being in the cauldron and then straight to the scene where she's marrying Mamo. Like, why is the church empty? Where's everybody? Where's Luna? Is she ok??? Did she go to the future??? Did she go to her home planet?????
Anyway the original ending had a lot of these plotholes but I'm so glad they filled at least that one
