same here honestly as someone studying STEM who’s also massively into art and art history and who’s main hobby is drawing i have many thoughts on this that i’ll probably share some day lol cause i feel like here people have more talked about the practical and physical overlap and how neither could exist without each other but personally i think way more about the ideological mental and philosophical overlap for example in how an understanding of the inner workings of the universe is in itself a pursuit of beauty and art in the universe and how that inherent beauty is the same as the one that inspires art to create creation and discovery curiosity and imagination they are all so intertwined thoughts on art philosophy STEM stem student women in stem existential thoughts science
