“Toru?” You said, barely above a whisper. “We need to talk.” You told him, before walking out of the empty classroom where he, Suguru, and Shoko were hanging out.
He mutters a quick “be right back” as he hightails after you, the two of you ending up in a secluded hallway.
“What did you wanna talk about? We aren’t…breaking up, are we?” He asked.
“I hope not. What I’m gonna tell you is pretty big..”
“What is it?”
You sigh and run a hand over your face, the setting sun hitting your brown skin just right.
“You look really pretty right now.” He mutters.
“You aren’t making this any better.”
“Just tell me!” He whines, and you sigh.
“I’m…pregnant.”
“...What?”
“I’m pregnant!”
“I heard what you said..are you sure?” He asked, bending down to inspect your clothed stomach. “You don’t look pregnant.” He told you, making you smack his head.
“That’s not ‘till later, dummy. If you..even wanna keep it.”
“Huh? Of course I do!”
“But–”
“Sure, we’re in high school, but I bet it’ll be super fun!”
“Are you sure about that?” You ask, and he vigorously nods.
“We could all raise him! Or her! Like, as a group! It would be so awesome!”
“I don’t think Suguru would be down for that.”
“Nah, he would be. Only for you.”
You raise an eyebrow at that. “For me?”
“He totally likes you.”
You crossed your arms, looking at him incredulously. “I don’t think so.”
Satoru shrugs, and crosses his arms, mimicking your stance. “You’re blind.”
“I think you’re just delusional.” She jokes, but eventually becomes serious again.
“Are you really not mad?”
He shakes his head. “Not really. Though I am kinda mad at myself for not wrapping it before tapping it.”
“Never say that again.”
“Okay…”
