I swear this wasn’t intentional, but the wives’ hair colors matched their husband’s skin color and tattoo colors
Ya know given Val grew up on a farm and is used to doing heavy lifting and gives off big Cajun queen vibes
What’s stopping me from envisioning this 5’4” Mandalorian woman carrying a 7’2” Savage on her shoulders like this

Val and Savage comparing hand sizes all the time
Savage being afraid to handle her because of how much bigger he was compared to her
Savage getting himself injured or getting a small cut on purpose just so he could be around Val and appreciate her medical work
Savage rubbing the sides of her head where the shaved undercut part of her hairstyle is and her closing her eyes to enjoy the sensation
Val rubbing and massaging his shoulders when she can sense the amount of stress and self-doubt he’s feeling
Savage holding Val close to him and letting out a defensive roar towards anyone willing to hurt her
And him throwing himself on top of her to shield her
Val teaching Savage how to shoot a rifle blaster

I still find it hilarious that both Zoey and Val can be the sweetest people in the Galaxy despite their backgrounds yet both are more than capable of ripping people’s throats out
And when Maul and Savage see their respective wives be the ones making the threats they’re both are just

Savage, Val and their kids are all absolutely either autistic or hella neurodivergent
I am not accepting any criticism on that
Not me thinking of Val getting Savage’s little forehead marking tattooed on the exact same spot after his death when she’s raising their daughter on her own AND repainting her Bes’Kar armor to match Savage’s tattoos
