Townie makeovers are so appealing to me seeing as I can’t leave CAS, ever. I’m so proud that this post actually includes an in-game shot where I rotated the camera correctly. There is life in my poor, sad laptop yet!
Here’s Caleb and Lilith Vatore, Vampire siblings. They were delightfully emo originally bless, but I felt like hitting a more mid-century vintage nod with them. I don’t know why, but the thought of vampires existing in a maelstrom of 60s and 70s prints a la Dark Shadows is endlessly hilarious to me.
Also, is it just me or is Lilith is actually a really stunning sim in general - she gives me serious Rachael vibes from Blade Runner...
Ms Ward? I heard she doesn’t get out of bed for anything less than 500 000 simoleons....

This time it’s Judith Ward getting a makeover, seeing as she was really done dirty with that bun. For some reason, I felt like giving her a Gwyneth Paltrow inspired glow up. You just know she’s got an overpriced lifestyle brand in the works, you know, for when the last director in Del Sol Valley left refuses to work with her the leading lady roles dry up.

It’s two thirty am but sleep is for the weak. Here is the Pancakes edition of my townie makeovers. Now I’ve actually drafted this, it’s waaay more inspired by okruee’s fabulous townie makeovers than I intended (down to the kitchen setting?!?), so I guess I’ve just accepted them as default? Just go and appreciate their makeovers instead. They are *chef kiss*. Incidentally okruee also made Eliza’s gorgeous hair, which I have attached to almost every sim in my game...
Anyway, here’s our unhappy couple, destined to do something drastic in a last-ditch effort to save their marriage. Originally, I had a wedding photo set up behind them, complete with passive aggressive post-its and takeout business cards, but it wasn’t working so I just....knocked it over instead.

It’s been 7 months since I posted anything “original” (or just...anything tbf) so quarantine seemed like a good excuse. Can I offer you some Townie Makeovers in this trying time?
I’ve revised the VRs at least 4 times in the process of making this post - children in S4 are just so weird, but then @niveasimscc came out with the fantastic shorter teens mod and I could age Max up without going too far. Also, how exactly does one capture the sweet summer boy that is Hugo Villareal?
Anyway - what crimes have the Villareals committed? I’ll leave that up to you to decide.

Maaike and Ulrike needed a glow-up. They’re my favourite galpals and they deserve it!
Maaike also looked just a bit too like Emma Watson for me to be ok with it. I’ll probably replace the old version of this edit at some point because it’s basically the same but I just can’t keep looking at how lazy-eyed she was bless her heart.
Also, everything in this is lopsided and there’s nothing I can do about it now.

This was so much fun to do. I actually used to make promotional club posters for my family’s business when I was a teenager so...blast from the past. Please ignore the fact that the group portrait is basically the same configuration as Free Spirits and that I’ve used the same font on every poster........
I made both of Candy’s posters then realised I had no idea how to work in Yuki, so she’s now GeekCon’s defending Blicblock champion (not too far from the truth really) and they use her in their promotional material?..?......I don’t know just go with it.
Btw Candy’s shows are called Queen of Jams and Supergroove

It’s been a while since I set up a proper ‘cinematic’ style townie makeover, but I’m breaking the fast with the Fengs, my favourite evil schemers. It seems appropriate while the world goes to hell in a handbasket.
I was originally trying to make campaign posters but they came out more like their own Feng magazine covers. I don’t hate that at all tbh; it seems like the kind of aspirational prudence that Lily would preach. Don’t get me wrong, Victor is the genius - but Lily is steering the ship...

The longest save I ever had was with a stylist sim who married Venessa. I don’t know why I made her into a sort of proto-e-girl. I think it’s the green and blue hair. I was going to give her a cute bob like she had originally, but I wanted her to be distinct from Yuki Behr.
