I ABSOLUTELY AGREE WITH THIS

Can we talk about how different Odalia and Darius are when they're around kids?

Like seriously, we have Odalia, a psychologically abusive mother who would put her children into positions that they don't want to be in rather than let them discover what they want to do on their own...

...and then you have Darius, although not necessarily an actual dad (that we know of in canon yet), his response to Hunter defending the Emerald Entrails and treating him more like the kid he should be speaks volumes on how drastically different they are around kids!

Like seriously, why did Alador marry Odalia instead of Darius?

Not only is Alador recently realizing how crappy of a father he is for neglecting his children, but he straight-up gets told by his youngest child that he just follows whatever Odalia wants him to do

If he married Darius, he probably would've been a better father and be more involved with his kids rather than neglecting their problems

But, of course, that's just a theory from my shipping ass
