‘Hoppin’ off a jet ski’- Carl Gallagher Headcannons!!

• I will hold your hand while saying this, this boy has a mouth. He has said almost every insult in the book, any swear word that exists- he’ll even makeup new ones. His language is horrible and you’d have to smack him to his senses.

• He likes to be at your house any chance he can get. Home away from home basically. Its nicer there and isn’t as hectic. He can lay down in your bed and not have to hear someone down stairs yelling at someone not to get arrested or to stop breaking something.

• He has guilt that is unmatched. He hates the fact you can get him things, yet he can’t reciprocate. Of course he is thankful for all of it, but it stings him every time you get him something and he has nothing to offer. But promise, he’ll love on you the rest of the week. Hugs, kisses, holding hands, helping out with simple things, taking walks with you in some areas that are a little bit nicer from Southside Chicago.

• Would actually send letters while in juvie. Not all lovey dovey like he was in war, but not boring like sending an email to a professor of yours. It was just enough to keep you on the edge wanting him to send another, but have you practically begging him to add more info.

• Carl would definitely date a girl that came from a rich family. He wouldn’t do it to be gifted many things, but to feel as if he was rich. Sleeping in your bed, in a nice house. He felt he was on cloud 9.

• After he became rich however, off of the drug money…, He’d love to buy you all of the things that he couldn’t buy you before.

• That hug and kiss after juvie was one you’d see out of a love story. You had waited and waited, looking at the clock until he’d show up. The moment he did, he swept you up in his arms into a tight hug and spinning you around. After placing you on your feet, you were met with a kiss that knocked all air out of your lungs.

• He likes everything and anything you do. You hum? He adores it. You wear a skirt? He’s your hype man. Ask him to hold your purse? He’s holding it like it’s his. No shame- at all.

• He will love just sitting there and watching you do your makeup. Like he adores it. He’d definitely tell you that you should do that trend that’s like, ‘what I look like when I sat down’ and vs ‘when I got up’.

• Is your hype man through and through. Wearing a dress? HYPING YOU UP!! Wearing baggy skater pants? Your hype man. Wearing a shirt that shows off your curves? He can fight <3.

• Loves resting his head on the plush of your thighs. Hell, he’ll even rest his head on your chest. Two favorite spots for him, and his favorite part about it all is that you can run your fingers through his hair.

• Would let you do his makeup, once and once only. Thought he looked badass, but ended up taking it off 30 minutes in.

• Favorite thing is seeing you black lipstick anywhere on him. Kiss his neck? He better see some damn lipstick left over.

• If you dye your hair on your own, you better know that he will help you with it. Helping rising out your hair, mixing some of the hair dye and applying it into your hair. He loves it.

• He loves pinching your cheeks, he finds it hilarious. You have on all of this dark makeup and seem so dead inside and here he is, just cooing at you and pitching your cheeks.

• In the beginning of your relationship with Carl, you wanted to hold his hand and just be close to him to show your love. But the feeling of that you would come off clingy or odd and obsessive would set you off from trying to being all affectionate.

• Sooner or later, Carl would notice how you would reach for his hand but in a split second you chose to pull your hand away. So we would start to take your hand in his, watching your reaction.

• He would watch you get all happy and excited about the fact he was holding your hand. Squeezing his hand every so often, swinging it back and forth gently as you two walked side by side.

• Eventually you found the courage to tell Carl about wanting to hold his hand and be more affectionate towards him. He was confused on why you just didn’t do it in the first place. His thoughts were that you were his girlfriend, and he was your boyfriend. So go nuts- hold his hand, kiss his cheek, hug him randomly.

• So now that he knows about your love for affection and physical contact, he would always make sure to do it. Holding your hand in public, resting his hand on the small of your back, holding you close if standing in a crowded place.

• He loves that you’ll just come up to him and kiss him, even if you seem hesitant about it at first. But after time, you get used to it and do it almost every time you walk pass him.

• Seeing Carl with braids was let’s say, an experience. It definitely was weird when you saw it, but you eventually got used to it after time passed.

• Carl is actually so good with kids, it’s crazy. You think it’s so sweet seeing him help Debbie with Franny, hang out with Liam, or if you have younger siblings, him hanging out with them as well.

• If you’re a Latina, trust me babe, he is enjoying that food. Yes he is a white boy, but at least he has taste. He is absolutely munching on empanada while he is high out of his mind.

• He is one of those, “I don’t really listen to music.” Kind of guy. So if you’re obsessed with music just like me, you WILL get him into it. By the time you guys are hitting the 1 year mark if your relationship, he probably knows almost every song from your favorite band.

• Such a sucker for a girl who gets her nails done. He thinks that nails that are just long enough where they feel nice when lightly scratching at his scalp of back are perfect. Adores the color light pink, baby blue, dark red, white, or black on your nails. Also likes French tips as well.

• While shopping at a makeup store, he’ll sit in one of the makeup chairs that aren’t being used and just watch you walk around the store picking up things you would like to buy. He would also 100% swatch lipstick on his arm, putting it in your bag because, “It matches my skin tone. So now when you kiss me it looks even more amazing on me.”
