Instead of using her death as a way for Itadori to gain character development, this could have been a huge moment for Nobara's character to shine and actually harm and eliminate a powerful character like Mahito even if it was his clone. Her technique was a threat to Mahito's existence and that could have been explored more into how her technique could have been an asset and how it could harm the souls of others.

This is one narrative I disagree with and one in which as a method of correction and expand her potential, I will write her potential and character out more in my own JJK fanfics. Her death was not just shocking but cruel for her and Itadori.
