During the prequels…

I think Sheev will be awake at 3 a.m. and he’ll call the Separatist’s Assassin Hotline to try and kill Padme Amidala because her death would help Anakin fall, but mostly because he’s bored and watching the assassins scramble to kill Padme (who might have unlocked immortality) is better than the opera.
