SCHLEEPY - BIG DAWG, SMOL FRIEND! Introducing an idea I had in my head for more than 6 months now. I've always wanted to have my doggo sims carry around a toy, and snuggle up to their cotton filled companions; but I kept failing at converting objects to accessories - not until today! T_T I saw the werewolf pack's new "wolf toy" and I knew I had to let my doggos carry that CUTE LITTLE THING AROUND. CREDITS TO EA AND WHICHEVER DELIGHTFUL HUMAN CREATED THIS CUTE AF TOY. Included in the folder that I will be sharing below, is a download for the posepack itself, as well as the converted object! It's linked to the stigmata joint, so posemakers!!! FEEL FREE TO MOVE IT TO YOUR HEART'S CONTENT OKAY! I STAN THE STIGMATA JOINT! The posepack features 4 basic poses as you can see above :D Clipping may occur with fluffy dogs or... idk. i think it’s so neat we are all here just doing our own thing with a shared medium. i think it’s very cool that people have their own style and expression of creativity. i think it’s awesome we all get to share a piece of ourselves here through the sims, in whatever form that might be. and i know it’s so easy to fall into the mindset of, “oh i need to do this like that, because xyz does that.” but honestly, staying true to yourself and your likes is always the right answer. you’re all so fucking talented in your own little way. and i hope you don’t doubt yourself too much today, or any day. 🫵🏼

First and second poses with apple accessory. SFS 💖

Made for one sim and one horse at a time, from child to elder sims. Adult to elder horses. The apple accessory is a new mesh, base game found in socks category.

Known issues: some pants will not show the apple accessory as some pants override the socks.

The apple accessory can not be seen whilst wearing a choker necklace as it overrides the texture.

The most helpful horse rig is by the wonderful @simplyanjuta ✨ Childs outfit is by @simverses✨ Adult outfits are by @satterlly✨

Horse Rigs (Missing Textures and CAS Parts Added)

The standard rigs as exported from S4S are missing some textures, so I added those as well as the CAS parts for bridle, reins, saddle, mane, forelock and feathers. (You can however hide the CAS parts you don't need as usual in the outliner menu.)

Notes regarding the reins:

Reins are actually part of the horse rig. Therefore, if you want to make a riding pose with reins, you will need to have at least the mesh for the reins enabled in Blender.

Reins per default only appear when a sim is riding a horse. Check out these cc reins for posing if you want the reins to be visible while posing.

The rigs are available for Blender 2.7 as well as for newer Blender versions (including Blender 3.3 and 3.6).

Posing Interaction for Babies (Newborns)

This mod adds an interaction to the bassinet to play poses with babies.

Based on my testing the interaction works wherever the sim is, even off lot. The baby spawns to your sim and afterwards back to the bassinet (little demo below).

As a placeholder I included a set of Gallery poses with babies. However, you can override them with your own. For that purpose, I’m including the pose files separately as well as the blend file I used that you can then use as a base (the blend file is saved in Blender 3.6). (You don't need to put the blend file into your mods folder.)

XML Injector Required The XML injector is a tool/library that can be used to add interactions without the need to write your own script (another one that you might know is lot51’s core library). A script in my case would have been needed to add the posing interaction without overriding the existing game file with the baby tuning. The XML injector does that for me.

This was just an experiment tbh but I was surprised that it works so well and so I ended up wrapping it up. But anyhow, in game interactions are pretty new to me, so let me know if there's any issue.

Some background information:

The baby is an object in-game that is connected to the adult sim via the stigmata bone for poses/animations – similar to poses with accessories, if you’re familiar with that. The difference is that you also need to pose the baby itself. I have some additional notes in this tutorial for Gallery poses with babies that I made a while ago.

Note that you can’t export baby poses or animations via S4S the standard way since you can’t select the baby rig in the S4S export options. I did this with a workaround by exporting the clips from the Game File Cruiser, then importing them to Blender using an add-on (it’s actually a deactivated part of the Blender add-on that S4S uses and it’s only functional in Blender 2.7).

However, you can import the blend files with baby poses to the package file like you normally would since the rig selection is not relevant for the import.

New Baby 🐣 In-Game Poses

Made this little set of poses to be used with the posing interaction for babies.

You will need:

Posing Interaction for Babies (+ XML Injector). Place only the file SimplyAnjuta_InGameBabyPoses_Interaction.package from the zip file into your mods folder. Remove the pose files that are included in the zip since the pose pack here is an override.

How to use the poses in-game:

Place the teleport statue in the middle of a bed and teleport your sim there.

Click the bassinet and select "Baby Poses".
