Sink Or Ship - Tumblr Posts

Hrm I gotta think of more ships 😂

Okay here are a few:

- Clint/Pam (listen I love mess)

- Haley/Elliott

- Alex/Sam

- Emily/Abigail

Let's play a game of sink or ship, shall we?

I have no idea what to say about Clint and Pam except that it is not for me, and I have no idea how anyone would go about exploring a dynamic between them. It sounds like a real challenge, or just flat out impossible. I might just be lacking the creativity, though. For now I'm gonna go with sink.

Haley and Elliott is... interesting? There have been a few times where I thought about them, but it was more things like "she would piss Elliott off immediately", and "Haley would be a snob about his cabin on the beach." They may have things in common, but I feel like they'd never be able to make it past acquaintances, due to Haley's off-putting attitude when you first meet her. Probably sink.

Alex and Sam is peak golden retriever/doberman duo. Sebastian would hate it. So would Abigail. Haley would be so confused? Alex and Sam would be so goofy, though—Sam would get Alex to loosen up a little, and accept the goofier sides of him that were likely beaten or bullied out of him as a child. Alex would be such a sweetheart, and would encourage Sam to take better care of himself. Damn. I might have to explore this at some point. Anyway, ship!

Emily and Abigail... oh boy. They would have a very tricky relationship, but if they managed to work it out, I think they could be a killer couple. An absolute powerhouse, if you will. I imagine that Emily's encouragement would help Abigail's confidence, and that Emily's willingness to do things most people find embarrassing or shameful could help Abigail overcome her defensive and aggressive facade. Abigail (in my opinion) struggles a lot with low self-esteem, and in order to protect herself from getting hurt, she's quick to aggression. With Emily, I don't think she'd have to worry about that at all—Emily would never make fun of her for her interests, her fears, or her failures. It would help Abigail come into her own—and Abigail is nothing if not passionate when she's comfortable in herself. I think Abigail would learn to be a good girlfriend by taking a few pages out of Emily's book, and Emily deserves the kind of love she puts out into the world. Definite ship, for these two.
