I also wanted to share two little things I’m speculating about SGMB:
• The song opens with marching band drums 🥁🥁 with “boop beep” like articulations—Do you think the “boop beep” may have been inspired by the Jimin meme where he is going “boop beep”? (I hope I’m explaining this sufficiently enough; there were two occasions JM did this 1️⃣ He made 🫶 and throws a kiss with 🤲 both hands at camera he had light hair, not exactly blonde. 2️⃣ In a Run BTS Hangul Day special episode whilst mocking/bickering at Yoongi, sounding vowels.)
• At the chorus 🎶mmm…I love you babe🎵 he goes 🎙️🐤 “Yesss I dooo~” in tiny. Do you think that could be another Jimin meme reference of that famous “Yes Aeey Dooo~👀” while seated with a guitar in green room during his FACE promo schedule?
Bangtan knows what we talk about them very well (“let’s talk about us”) on social media and beyond. Is it any wonder he might have incorporated some memes we adore?!

Jimin is just as delightful and gorgeous and sweet as we suppose him to be.
It tells me we see the real Jimin.
This is him.
He really IS the glittering star that brightens our ordinary lives.
He's the first dancing snowflake of winter.
He's a ray of warm sunshine in spring.
He's the moonbeam that lights up the darkest of your nights.
He's a flicker of hope in your heart when everything else seems lost.
He's the pot of gold AND the rainbow.
It's a brave thing he's doing. Let's not forget that, despite the buoyant mood, he's taking a huge risk.
If i had a god I'd pray that they keep Jimin safe from hurt and harm, but i don't. I just have to have faith in the universe, that this beautiful and charming and funny young man will have the happiness he deserves.

It's an everyday thing.
Many of us recognise this desire, I'm sure. Touch is hardwired into us, and unless it's conditioned out of us, we seek it without thinking.
Holding hands with a family member gives us security and safety from the time we are very young.
As adults, holding hands is a gentle reminder of your loved one beside you. It is quiet reassurance and a whisper of affection.
But not for everyone.
Like a lot of things that might be taken for granted by a straight couple, holding hands in public can be challenging, and even dangerous for queer couples, especially in ultra conservative environments.
Right now, in Korea, It is simply unacceptable for a queer couple to hold hands in public.
They are denied this basic sign of affection that others are naturally entitled to.
They are denied this social signal that tells the world 💕we're together💕.
They are denied this form of touch-communication that makes it so easy for couples to interact without words.
In some places, queer couples must be even more inhibitited in order to be safe.
They have to be alert to observers and to their own actions, incase they give themselves away.
Don't stand too close together
Don't touch too causally
Don't let your eyes linger
Dont show too much familiarity
Don't take liberties with tone or language
Whatever you do, don't behave like a couple.
I remember in 2019 - the BB of their visit to the pop-up shop in Seoul was released and i noticed right away that Jimin and JK came through the door very close together. Jimin's hand was at JK's waist. As soon as he saw the cameras, his hand vanished.
It was a crushing moment, seeing Jimin's reaction to the camera. He quietly dropped his hand and stopped walking, starring at the camera pensively as JK continued on unaware. He knew they had been filmed.
It was like Jimin was mentally calculating the damage.
I think when Jimin sings "I wanna hold your hand" it isnt just a cute expression of liking somebody.
Its a real sadness. He's lamenting the fact.

I think you're right. I think Jimin was working all day every day. JK probably missed him like crazy and the shameless begging on his lives was a reflection of that.
It makes my heart race to think of how Jimin would have felt as he pulled up at the airport, ready to board a plane to meet JK in New York.
Those long smooth legs he had on display told me everything i needed to know about his intentions....
That little escape must have meant a great deal to both of them after so many months of schedules and more schedules.
Oh my heart, i wish they could dissapear together for a whole year, live wild on an island somewhere in the warm Pacific, and feast on nothing but oysters and each other...

This seems like an excessively romantic venue for a pop up event...
and considering there will be photo ops and experiential zones, I'm imagining an overwhelming number of romantic photo zones.
Oooh!!! What if Jimin & Jungkook get a leave day to visit the venue?

Jungkookie was swimming in Qatar with SOMEONE...

Someone was in the pool with JK. Someone was there in addition to his beefy security/swimming coach. Look at the size of his body guard!
That guy is twice the size of JK! Whereas someone definitely has narrower shoulders, and longer hair that touches his collar...
Someone rapidly swam out of frame when they got close to the camera. All we saw was a leg...
Jungkook noticed that someone was visible, he can be seen watching them through the camera (we've seen him do that before...)
Someone was being teased and splashed by JK in a way that would not be appropriate for a professional relationship.
After the flirty splashing Jungkook smiled at someone with his whole face. We've seen that heart-eye smile before, but only ever when he's looking at someone who is adorably cute.
...and we've seen him splashing someone in that cheeky way before too... while everyone else wishes they were miles away.
I think that someone went on the Roller-coaster too... because the way Jk smiled at the staff with the camera...
...was VERY different from how he smiled at someone sitting NEXT TO the staff. (He looked like he wanted to eat someone for lunch)

We know Jimin was seen at Gimpo Airport when JK returned from Qatar - he was inside with the luggage and staff while JK was greeting ARMYs. When the car was leaving a few ARMYs called his name and there were definitely two heads looking out the window.

Using this - a single line from one song on the album - to try to disprove a long term relationship seems a little desperate honestly. But I'll play along.
I'm going to skip over the aesthtic writing considerations like poetic licence, rhythm, the sound of words in different tenses, the way vowels change in singing etc.
The most obvious answer is....
... it's just not logical to assume Jimin wrote every word of this song sonce there are SIX other people credited as writers. And consider also that these are English lines and English isn't one of Jiminie's strengths.
I'm going to guess that the English speaking writers might have tweaked or even contributed the English lines. Because that just makes sense.
They're not likely to be writing the Korean lines, are they?

So much attitude. I loved it.
I loved seeing that he absolutely knows his worth, and these days he makes his own decisions. Whether anyone agrees or disagrees about his work ethic or his dieting choice, they are his own decisions.
And he knows what he wants.
He knows what he wants from the choreography, from the story he's telling, from the dancers, and from himself.
Jimin OWNS this performance.
Watching this dance practice reminded me of how far they have come and how much has changed for them.
The scales of power that were once tipped in the company's favour have found a new balance.
It's always interesting to watch a room full of people and work out who holds power.
When the power balance is questionable, there may be a palpable tension as the contenders wrestle for control. But when there is one person who has quiet confidence and visible authority, you know there's no question about who is in charge. They give and take, they work with their team, but ultimately they make the decisions.
Watching this dance practice, it's very obvious who holds the power in that room.
Gone are the days where anybody else makes decisions for Park Jimin. Nobody instructs Jimin to do anything here. The staff are teaching him the choreo, not because they are in charge, but because that's their job. And Jimin changes whatever he feels isn't working - with consultation because he respects his team - but he's not asking permission.
He decides which parts to keep working on and he decides when the practice ends, and everyone respects his decisions because he is the natural leader.
Watching this also demonstrated unequivocally that with WHO, Jimin had full involvement in every aspect.
He may not have written the words to the song but he absolutely controlled the narrative.
