Comfort Younger Snape
Snape was heading to the school courtyard. He had asked you to meet him there because he wanted to ask you something. He gets there and waits for her.
He then saw James and his friends. He frowns and tries to stay hidden from them. He didn’t really want you to see him and James and his friends get into a fight or anything.
He waited a few more minutes and kept looking around for you. That was when he saw James and his friend group. He frowns and watches as they come over to him. James scoffs at him. “What are you doing here?” James asks and glares at him. Snape looks away from them without saying anything. James frowns and sighs. “Answer me, you filthy snake” James says and grabs Snapes collar. Snapes puts his hand over James to try to get him to let him go.
James just grabs him tighter and shoves him against a wall. Snape grunts and tries to push him off. James smirks and chuckles. “It's not nice to ignore people, you filthy snake.” James says. His friends were behind him and were mumlbleming more things about him to themselves but Snape was still able to hear them.
Snape frowns and then next thing he knows was that he felt something hit his face hard. He grunted and then kept feeling it till it was everywhere else too. Next thing he knows he sees black and nothing else.
Snape slowly wakes up and looks around. His whole body hurt. It felt like he ran into a wall really fast. He then looks beside him and sees you. You had fallen asleep and had her head in your arms. He smiles a little and then he remembers what they said about him and frowns. He then looks away. He didn’t understand why you were here with him, a filthy snake. He sighs softly and frowns. You were always really nice to him but he didn’t understand why. You were a hufflepuff and he knows that they are the kinder ones of them but he still didn’t understand.
He then snapped out of thought when he felt someone touch him. He looks over and sees you holding one of his hands. You smile softly at him. “You doing-” You were about to ask him before he cut you off. “Why do you care for me?:” Snape asks. You look at him confused. “Well I care for you because you're my friend” You say. Snape frowns. “but…I’m a filthy snake.” He mumblems. You sigh and stand up from where you're sitting and hug him. He frowns and then he hugs you back tightly and then he feels tears fall down his face, onto your shirt. “I care for you because I like you, Snape. Even if you're a snake or anything else.” You mumblem. He nodes and holds you tighter, almost like if he didn’t you would leave him all alone.

You had just gotten finished with teaching your class. You groan as you walk to where the teachers stay. It was your last class of the day and you had to make some more lessons. You taught the kids how to do spells. Today was a pretty good day. There were a few things that went flying across the room because they were learning how to make things levitate. You didn’t really say anything. This was the first time you were teaching them this so you already knew that this was going to happen.
You were heading to where you stayed before you saw Snape. You were guessing what he was doing. He normally never left his classroom this early. You then caught up to him. You didn’t say anything to him. You just continued to walk beside him. You both were going in the same direction so it wouldn’t hurt to walk next to him. Snape had looked at you wondering what you were doing but he didn’t say anything either.
You both weren’t in the same house so you guys were going to have to go into different directions sometimes. You were a Hufflepuff while Snape was a Slytherin. You knew him when you both were going to school here. Well you didn’t know him. I mean you would just see him around the school. You always wanted to say hi but decided against it instead. Now that you were a teacher you were able to talk to him more but it wasn’t like you guys ever talked about anything about each other. You guys were normally talking about classes and the students. You did wish that you two could talk to each other and it was not school related. It might sound childish to think that but you always wanted to get to know him. You wanted to get to know the cold, sarcastic, and bitter Slytherin that you wanted to talk to so much when you were younger but never had to the guts too. Still to this day you still don’t have the guts too. It's just something about him that makes everything you want to say to him disappear. It wasn’t like you were scared of him, no it's definitely not that. If you were, you wouldn’t be walking beside him but in the other direction. After a few minutes of you both walking in silence. The only noise being the sound of your guys shoes hitting the floor. Snape finally decided to say something.“Did you need anything?” He asked
You looked up at him and shook your head, no. You really didn’t need anything but you did want something. You wanted to talk to him and get to know him.
Snape just nodded when you shook your head. You then looked away from him and looked in front of you.
“So how were the students for you?” You asked him. Finally deciding to make a conversation.
“It was normal. Them goofing off and trying to be funny and then other kids getting hurt in the process.” He says. You chuckled a little at this and nodes.
“That is how they normally act nowadays. We just have to get used to them being like that” You said. You then looked at him through the corner of your eye. You saw him nod.
“I guess that it is true. But that isn’t an excuse for them acting like that.” He said. You nodded. You knew he was right. No matter what there was no excuse to act like that, especially when you're dealing with potions. It could end badly for someone if they did go too far with something. You were kinda glad that you only had to deal with it a few times.
“What about the students for you? They seem to take it more easy on you and actually be good for once” He says. You nod.
“Yea they were good. We just had a few things fly through the room since they weren’t used to getting something to levitate” You explained to him. He nodes.
“That makes sense,” He says. You smile a little and nod.
“I still remember when we learned that. Don’t you? It was quite something to be honest” You said and remember back to when you and Snape had first learned how to get something to levitate.
It had ended where things were being thrown everywhere. You remember that because you got hit in the head with a book. You tried to see who it was but couldn’t find out who it was. You kinda just let it go but when you did it, it had hit Snape. You felt really bad so you went to him after class to apologize. He kinda just nodded his head and walked away. That was probably the first time you talked to him. You still felt bad for doing it but it was the past.
He just nodded his head and said a small “yea” to your question. You were hoping that he didn’t remember but it seemed like he did. You then looked around. It stayed a comfortable silence till you saw where you guys had to split. Before you went down a different hallway than him you looked at him.
“Snape?” You said in a questioning tone. He looked over at you confused. “I hope you have a nice day. It was nice talking to you while we walked to the dorms. Bye” You said before going down the hallway, not waiting for an answer. Snape stood there and watched you.
“I did too.” He muttered softly. He then waited till he couldn’t see you before heading to his dorm and going inside. He smiled a little but once he entered the dorms he put on his normal facial expression.
You then went into your dorm, smiling really happily. You were happy that you finally got to much more than you normally did. Maybe you guys would be able to get closer to each other now.
