OK so you know how Thomas Jefferson would eat tomatoes in front of people because everyone thought they were poisonous (spoiler: they’re not). I can just imagine Thor doing the same thing to Bruce because he’s an alien and has a different digestive system or something. Like he just stands there eating a fuckin shoe or something while Bruce looks on in horror.

and then he would refuse to explain
and thor would probably recruit loki and valkyrie
so theyll all just be there eating while bruce has a mini heart attack
and then he tries to ask other asgardians and stuff
but lokis got them in on the joke and they all think its hilarious
and then the first time the avangers see thor eating something definitly not edible
they are like freaking out
and bruce isnt even flinching
and then peter gets obsessed with trying to eat stuff like thor
so thor is forced to stop for the safety of the spdier-child
and it becomes a big joke
where if anyone outside of the avengers/asgardians asks them how's it going
they just go 'well thor's eating a shoe'
