the design of the player character for styxxfields was originally going to be the grim Reaper themselves, but it conflicted with the "everything is customizable" mentality, so they've been scrapped

there was plans to make 3 default versions, this one is the male version, and there were plans to make a female version and a nonbinary version

the old idea for the game was called Crop Reaper, it was going to be a farming game where this is what the grim Reaper does after retirement, but after conceptualizing more and more, I liked the idea of the afterlife setting, and the idea of the island that the Reaper owns, I then started getting ideas for intractable townspeople and it evolved from farming to community growing, I'm so excited for this project
