When the hell is he whiny? He has had to grow up far quicker than the normal teenager because he's the alpha and has to protect becaon hills and his pack.

I have to do the most to even find fics of my favorite ships because AO3 is bloated with Sterek fics that use Derek as a prop/trophy to Stiles and also make Scott to be the worst person ever when all he has done was sacrifice himself for Stiles and everyone else
