I was thinking about particles, you know, solids, liquids and gases. And oh my god is the story of condensation tragic

Picture this: You're a gas particle! You:

-Are fast

-have a lot of energy

-don't have to be pressed up against other molecules

-can move almost anywhere

-you can fly

And then one day you suddenly realise that some force is forcing you to slow down, and you're losing energy. You're bring pulled towards other molecules and suddenly the life you took for granted is slipping away and you don't know why and you can't stop it. Before you know it, you're pressed up against other molecules in a big, claustrophobic crowd. You're slower and can't really move anymore, and you find yourself spending days staring up at the gas molecules flying around without a care, while you yourself are bound to gravity, unable to move on your own, unable to fly, stuck in a cycle of perpetual falling until you evaporate, only to condensate again.

I don't even know what this means but here you go
