Please take a minute to remember that mental illnesses are not fun.

They are not to be romanticized or used against the people who have them.

People who don't a) have a mental illness or b) are a medical professional, don't get to gatekeep symptoms or experiences.

They are often physically damaging.

They're called illnesses and disorders for a reason.
