saw a poll on here where one of the categories was “I have over 300 hours in a single video game” and people were picking it and saying “I have way more than 300 hours!!” but they were all talking about games like ffxiv or overwatch where there’s a prolonged play element. that’s just not impressive to me. you’re SUPPOSED to have 300 hours in those games. what game do you have over 300 hours in that you absolutely should not be able to have 300 hours in? mine is the ace attorney trilogy

i have replayed all the da games so many times i dont even know how many hours ive put in
and dont get me started on skyrim cuz i have a ridiculous number of hours on that
well into 1k i bet

amd the funniest part to me is that i have never not even once finished the game or engaged with the main plot line
i have a general policy of beating a game at least once before modding it
or getting to a decent level of completion in the case of games like stardew valley

and yes house flipper technically is the kind of game youre expected to put a lot of hours into
but uh
ive put in easily close to 3k hours
i also have an absurd amount of hours in both animal crossing and sdv
and ac valhalla
also me andromeda
and i have done exactly 0 multiplayer in any game
look i hyperfixate sometimes
and that can lead to a lot of hours put into my games
because that will be almost all i do in my free time for weeks or months at a time
