ASD assessment personal history forms at the age of 50 when they're designed to record the life experiences of people no older than 18, with adults in their life who actually remember their childhood milestones and unique behaviours. (My father died 20 years ago, my mother is 80 and... no, not so much with remembering my first smile or when I first walked, or what teachers said about me at primary school. I asked her the first question - was I born at term or either side - and she doesn't have a clue!)

I guess it's still progress from the 1980s when only boys had autism and only profoundly affected schoolchildren got referred for clinical assessment, but I'm gonna need a shoehorn and a time machine to get my adult-ass life story in these little boxes.
