Is it just me, or is Sonic Movie 3 currently trying to recreate the Sonic Adventure 2 release timeline?

Because I remember reading somewhere that Shadow’s (and Rouge’s) design were leaked through toys before Sonic Adventure 2’s release way back in 2001

And how have we been informed of Shadow’s design in Sonic Movie 3?

Toys.

Also as a side note, Sonic Movie 3 toys have apparently been seen at Walmart, so yea.
