the enterprise theme song isn’t bad y’all are just cowards
bonus:

It's been so funny to have lived through people moving Enterprise from the "despised, doesn't even count as Real Star Trek" category to the "Proper Star Trek that that new shit could never live up to and is a disgrace to the memory of" category

That’s DOCTOR V-Neck to you.

Your daily reminder that Hoshi Sato was a 22 year old linguistic genius who doesn't get enough credit
Didn't watch Enterprise until this year, but after watching it become my favourite as well.the pre-federation era's stories are indeed appealing, even characters might seems imperfect and the way they delt with some problems seems unwise or aggressive(script is to blame tho)but which makes its kinda more realistic right?use a higher-grounded sight to watch it and can clearly find out how humanity is evolving while facing, suffering from danger, uncertainty. And jumped out of the perspective of only the ENT itself and connect it with our world &societies' history and circumstances will make it even more interesting. We can see it clearly that it's spiral rising, advancing wave upon wave, there is backslide, there can be backslide, there should be backslide so we can be aware of it and correct it.Which keeps proving how right Dialectical materialism is.
I had a urge to get back into some star trek but god knows why the one I'm rewatching is Enterprise
I'm going to see The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes tomorrow and after, me and my family will watch the season 4 finale of Star Trek: Enterprise (These Are The Voyages).
I'm not ready for the double dose of emotional damage. I'll have to buy bulletproof armor to have a chance of surviving without being traumatized.
I'll make a Pure As The Driven Snow edit with Trip in his honor and memory to help cope. I might even make it a Tripol edit.
Star Trek: Enterprise finale spoilers !
I wasn't able to go see tbosas with my family, but we'll go sometime this week.
I did see the ST: ENT finale and I feel utterly empty and fucked.
Why the hell was it so goofy? Like, a time skip would be fine, but why does Will Riker and Deanna Troi have to be in the episode? And I haven't really watched TNG so I don't know, but why would they be in an episode for ENT when it might not connect to an episode for TNG? And WHY THE FUCKING HELL WOULD THEY KILL OFF BABY/HUSBAND TRIP? He's one of the most important characters in the show imo and most emotionally developed crew member. It'd be fine if they faked his death and then showed that he was still alive in S5, BUT THEY DIDN'T! And Jonathan should've told T'Pol that his death wasn't real, instead of traumatizing her like that, but I guess it would've ruined the impact fans felt watching. I did like how they showed the main cast (minus Jon Archer) talking with the chef, although I wish they would've shown his face sometime throughout the 4 seasons ENT aired. And I was surprised when Hoshi said she thought Trip was cute. But ngl, same bae, who could blame her? (Hoshi and Trip would be cute, although Tripol is endgame.)
I now need a month's worth of chocolate (I have hot cocoa to help as well), therapy, a LOT of Trip fanart (ENT fanart in general too), and a lot of squishmallows to help soothe the pain.
Fuck the directors/producers for making this shitty ass finale and for shitting on Tripol, and bring Trip back once and for all. (I know they did in the novels but it has to happen onscreen.)
finally got around to starting Enterprise and got jump scared by Trip mpreg
