you’re sitting at a table in a small cafe looking around at all the other people laughing and smiling. you start to feel a bit lonely cause you were supposed to meet your best friend Jeongin for a lunch date, but he isn’t here yet. you start to think that maybe he forgot or something had come up, but he would text you if something came up. you’re finishing up the drink you had gotten and were thinking of leaving when a boy came rushing in causing a slight commotion. you turn in your seat and see a flustered Jeongin as he helps the man pick up his papers by the door. you can’t help but laugh to yourself for thinking he would forget.

“sorry i’m late y/n! the dance practice took a big longer than i thought it would. do you want another drink? it’s on me,” Jeongin smiles at you, feeling a bit bad for making you wot on him. you just nod your head and he goes to order your drinks and comes back ready to tell you about his day and hear about yours.
