1. WEIRDO.

y/n huffs as she locks her phone, shoving it into her jacket as she carries her duffle. her compressed jacket and sweats weren't enough for the cool breeze that hit her in the night, but the success of another routine warmed her, and finally, she agreed that she'll enjoy a good dinner before resting.

dropping her things into her car before driving, she checks over her gear before the treck back to the dorms. "wait-- fuck!" she breathes, realising her dorm key was back at the locker. y/n sprints back to the rink, opening it before she heads to the locker rooms.

the shadow of a figure catches her eye, as they cross her eyes within the dimly lit space. it was dark now, there was no way other students would've stayed past her time. y/n knew every soul that traversed this space, to her it was sacred. so she screamed in response, running and bumping into the figure before grabbing her keys.

"WHAT THE FUCK." she yells as she finds a man her age crouched over the bench she jabbed him on, and he stammers his breath, mumbling under it.

"'m sorry... i didn't know there were other people here." he says, sitting up. his hooded jacket covered his features, but y/n was quick to identify it was just another student.

in return y/n calmed down, returning the apology. "sorry, i just never seen anyone here at this time besides myself usually.." she trails off, grabbing her dorm key before awkwardly heading out. "i guess you should enjoy the rink if you're planning to skate, the ice gets the most crispy!" she smiles at the hood of the student- memorising the pattern that was on his hoodie and shoes before leaving, keeping to herself that if she ever told the gang, she would've been ridiculed for the year.

the student scoffed as she left, listening to her advice. "why should i? i don't belong here. not anymore."

"here's my phone." y/n gestures her phone to sunghoon who catches his breath on the bench, wiping the beads of sweat and ice droppings on his neck.

"so you want me to take the whole routine?" he mumbles, followed by a grunt from y/n. "i mean, of course? how else can i see how good i got?" her voice echoes along the walls. the night is still bare and the morning sun hasn't peaked through, the sound of the ice being split and spun on where louder than their breaths- and the two remained at a grudge with each other; both with an equal grounding to the sport.

"alright whatever. whats the song you're going to play your free to?" he asks, going on his phone as he connects it to the girls pink mini speaker with stickers all over.

"don't judge me, but its called enemies to lovers by joshua kyan aalampour." she says, skating as she faces away from him.

he lowly chuckles, a smile cornering his lips, "classical? thats better than some song genres these days."

"whatever just play it, please." y/n turns, looking at the skates on her feet- waiting for the music to play.

sunghoon presses record on her phone as he lets the music start, watching her instantly snap into focus.

right foot, swing- yes. hook- yes, balance? perfect. sunghoon mentally took note of every move she made until he realised how much her demeanour had changed when the music started.

has she always been this good? he watches her, a good minute in and she's landed every move, every curve she made it was crisp, clean- her hair was in the way and yet with a breeze it all worked out.

sunghoon found himself watching her, truly, for the first time without a single ounce of criticism on his mind, and he found himself seeing just how good she really is. her expression ruled out her dance, and her fluidity, like no other. the y/n he faced before was nothing like this skater in front of him now.

"she's.. perfect."

as she glided upon the outer skirts of the rink, the sun decided to kiss her, and he found himself looking at her restless face. she then swiftly lands upon her jumps with her eyes landing on his.

flustered by the intimacy, y/n slips. causing her to knock out of it- but to no prevail, she regains it all, finishing til the end.

"how was it?" she heaves, running out to splat down the bench near him, as he chucks the phone on her lap. sunghoon had seen enough of what he saw, and he can't deny how much he liked it.

"i don't know, see for yourself." he says, packing his things, unable to look her in the eyes this time.

"no critique this time?"

"you don't need me here, that's for sure." he mumbles, mere feet away from the door.

"yeah right." she plays along, before realising he had already left. "park sunghoon?" she yells, before huffing back into her seat. as she pulls out her phone watching through the clips, she hears the mumbling of his voice upon the mic.

"she's.. perfect."

09. BEHIND

y/n couldn't bear to witness the amount of families showing up for their kin. the joy they bring to each other amped her flaming desire to feel the same. she admit how jealous she was, after all, she worked hard to get a glimpse of their attention.

it wasn't enough apparently, ill show them enough. y/n yells in her mind. the last minute bail was enough to show how much y/n's skating meant to them, but it didn't mean that it suppressed how she will entail her passion to others.

y/n stands in her slick bun, skate guards barely hanging on as she jumps up and down by the benches, easing her limbs before the real performance. she fixes the hem of her dress which was carefully designed by her bestfriends, and her makeup done by herself.

"i'm next." y/n whispers to herself, before reimagining the routine in her head, until she's called upon by the judicators and coach, smacking her arms in an attempt to wake her up. "this is it." she huffs, as she enters the rink, closing her eyes as she feels her feet halt at the centre. she waits until her music plays, and there she snaps again, like an unbreakable aura.

"3..2.. yes, landed perfect-"

"will you stop muttering under your breath? i'm trying to watch her!" jungwon snaps at sunghoon's jittering breath, to which he apologises. "i'm just counting." "count quieter." sunoo whispers, as he applauds for her second axel on the outer rink.

he watches her again, her eyes and her demeanour acting as a burning flame, her frowns and smiles as she interprets her move. the timing, the lands, the skips, the curve of her sway. she's first. she's definitely first. was all sunghoon could think.

y/n glides in reverse, her eyes scanning the crowd again, as part of the dance. sunghoon notices this part, remembering how they locked eyes before. he leans forward, watching her eyes scan away. he watches as she lands her eyes adjacent to him. straight at her smiley friend jungwon, before she turns away, snapping and forming a lutz.

sunghoon leans back, sighing in his head before realising his own actions. it's not like i was waiting for her to look at me. he bitterly laughs at the thought in the back of his mind. jungwon senses the changed demeanour of sunghoon, before nudging him with a smirk smacked on his face. "you wish i was you huh-" to which sunghoon nudges back, shaking his head in an attempt to stop feeding his nonsense.

"the judicators seem more fixated on her. she must be getting harshly marked." jungwon calms down as speaks up at his thought.

"no, they're trying to be fair with her," sunghoon pauses, watching y/n catch her breath as she returns to her starting pose. "she.. she makes it look easy." he mumbles, turning away to cough as she bows to everyone.

it was immediate that the y/n- the last performer- was the best out of the under 25, securing her spot in first. and- importantly upranking her again from 4th, to 3rd of the top 4 U25 national figure skaters, which to her- was olympic level.

she couldn't believe how hard she pushed herself, with the crowd supporting her work. she only managed to see jungwon and the girls, but seeing that the one who helped her here wasn't present made her spirit dry. "why am i so bummed over that guy?" she whispers to herself after cooling down in the locker rooms.

she didn't think much of it.

the chicken dinner was fun, it was often that y/n would place high- so their conversations were nothing but pure chaotic casual, and then night ended young as everyone had something coming up. y/n found herself in the back of her mind again, bugged about the fact that sunghoon was there- as they told her- but he left as soon as she finished.

i need to take my mind off this. was all she could think of, before slamming the pedal towards the rink at the late night. leaving her hair a mess, with only skates and a key to secure her thoughts.

upon her arrival, she finds another on the rink- skating in black as he- pirouettes into the centre, landing perfectly again. she was familiar by the movements, the fluidity- and she couldn't help but stare.

"he's.. perfect."

12. WHY WOULD I LIE?

written part below <3

"park sunghoon. you don't smell like just two shots." y/n breathes, yanking his hands off her waist after he pulled her aside infront of chloe and y/n's cousin- who caused a share of looks before realising the two were occupied.

"hm? i don't care." he mutters under his breath. his body is slumped, pretty much close to her air as she watches him stammer, one arm clamped to the wall right next to her head. "why do you let these guys talk to you so easily?" he blurts, shaking his head.

y/n, flustered by this controversial topic, dares to sway it off- "upstairs, free shots remember?-"

"we'll go up later. stay with me." he cuts her off, yanking her as he takes away from the crowd, away from the problem.

"what is up with you?!" y/n to which sunghoon chuckles, drunk out his breath. "i like it when i'm only with you."

y/n can't deny it twisted her heart, if she could she'd rip the hairs out of her head and stomp her ears on the ground. but nothing can take that voice out of her head. sunghoon, and his lightweight self, has blurted more than he could have ever.

"when are you going to unblock me on twitter?" he says another controversial topic, to which y/n rolls her eyes, going on her phone to open the app. "why do you care so much about being blocked, sunghoon?" she sighs, to which he nudges her, "i want to see your profile on my feed, a-and i want you to see how hot i am."

y/n bursts out of laughter by sunghoons honest statement, popping an epiphany that after all, sunghoon is just dearly misunderstood-and miscalculated. the game sunghoon has is unfamiliar to y/n but it still works.

"i like it when you smile." he blurts again,

"you look so pretty.." he mumbles, staring at the photo she posted when she finally unblocked him.

"sunghoon, stop lying. stop doing this. i-" y/n turns to him, "why would i lie, to you?"

his eyes frowned at her gesture, and when she softens, he smiles- truly, or well, drunkly back.

y/n couldn't help but get lost in his face, captured by his raw essence, and the tugging stomach feeling that hides in her heart.

"y/n," sunghoon pauses, "i hate the fact that because of you, i want to skate again."

"do it, i'll support you." y/n smiles back at his calmed self. the two now sit along the stairs before y/n stands up. her hand gets tugged by sunghoon as she tries to prop him against the rails.

"i think i'm going to vomit now."

19. ON MY WAY! ..MDNI.

(VERY LONG) written part below <3

sunghoon without hesitation envelopes y/n with a hug as she welcomes him through the door. absolutely tumbled by his mass, she finds herself pinned by his arms, with his eyes a little red and cheeks, a little stained.

"hoon.." she cooes, bringing a hand to his cheek only for him to look away. she understands his fragile appearance, daring not to address his vulnerable manner, but she couldn't stop looking at how red his ears got the moment he walked in.

"c-can i have water?" he stutters again, a habit when he's flustered. "of course, let me." y/n offers, pushing him off as she quickly gestures him to the mini table. "blue!" y/n whistles as she calls for her cat, giving the mellow guy some company as she fills up his cup.

"can i stay the night?" sunghoon blurts, fidgeting with his fingers as he watches her walk towards him with cups. y/n freezes as she places down his drink, looking at his eyes which were full of plea. she tilts her head in confusion, ears red. "i? um- i mean, yes but, explain?" she stutters, sitting down next to him as he gulps the water down.

"my father, he keeps trying to send people to put me back in that firm. i don't want to go, but he keeps insisting- for a better family image of course." he breathes, looking down as blue stretches on his lap.

"i told him i don't want to. i want to continue my career in skating. i've done it since i was child, only stopped a few years back- but my coach, my teachers- the guys, and you," he pauses, looking at y/n, "you would support me."

y/n smiles, resonating with his words. "y'know, my family doesn't support me either. that's why they always make up excuses not to see me." she sighs, "i guess that's why when i'm on the ice- i feel as if i need to show them how good i really am. i want to-"

"prove them wrong?" sunghoon finishes her sentence. "who knew we were the same after all." he chuckles, to which y/n playfully elbows him. "that's what i've been trying to tell you but, i guess you were just too jealous of me back then." she huffs, making him burst into a laugh. "i admit, i was super obsessed." he replies,

"and it drove me crazy at one point."

. . . ?

"how so?" y/n tilts her head. sunghoon shakes his head. sunghoon's eyes avert away, fingers cold as he stutters. "no, i don't wanna say." he rejects, to which y/n eventually poked his sides for an answer, "tell me, or ill try and force the answer out!" y/n groans. sunghoon watches her frustration, labelling it under the same attitude as her cat.

"do it. try and force it out." sunghoon smirks, "you wouldn't." he says as he takes off his blazer, sitting on the couch- admiring the city night view of her apartment.

y/n always found that cocky smirk of his so aggravating, but after seeing how egotistic he's willing to be- y/n wants to be break it all down, push his limits of embarrassment. at this point, y/n doesn't need an answer, she'll just drive him crazy in her own way.

y/n stands in his way, looking down as she grabs his white collar by her fingertips, her legs pinning him down. she hovers over his lap as she snakes both of her hands to his hot cheeks.

sunghoon couldn't help but look at her expression, so confident and alluring, and the way she had him caged by her limbs made his heart pounce out his chest. sunghoon is absolutely surprised by this sudden movement, and he can't deny how much he's enjoying it. y/n couldn't believe what she's doing, but it felt great to talk back to his pride every once in a while.

"even if i did this, you wouldn't tell me?" y/n purrs, almost whispering her words out, breathing it on his neck. sunghoon was speechless, ears red, cheeks too, his lips quivering as his neck tickled from her breath.

"never." was all he could say, with a broken smile. at this point y/n was on top of him, hands snaked on his shoulders as he stares up at her as her hair droops down on their sides. "park sunghoon." she calls, and he looks at her eyes that were filled with determination. "tell me how obsessed you are," she pleads, her lips moving closer to his ears again, "or, it's better if you show me." and all he could do was smile, a shit-eating grin on his face.

sunghoon has always been prideful man, but a horny one? that was rare. too vulnerable. too, risky. but for her? the y/n? the one he thinks about?

sunghoon heard those last few words and caged her with his arms, carrying her to her room- slamming the door as he plops her down with one arm.

his knee was forcefully wedged in between her thighs as he smashes his lips against her neck. "you wanna know so bad, huh?" he grunts as he peppers her all over. "those nights, alone-" he whispers through her silent moans, her hands gripping his arms as he continues to move on top.

"stressed and mad that your 'friends' were with you, holding you, posting you-" he groans, bringing his hand to squeeze y/n's hips, snaking his hands under her shirt and pants. "you even gave them nicknames?" he spat, shaking his head as he tugs on her clothes. "you started to know i only like it when you call me."

"i wanted you so bad, i fought the urge every night to do it." he furrows his brows, looking at her hazy eyes. y/n felt the heat pool around her, she was full of slick and she knew. she knew what she was doing to provoke him when he was away. and she knew that sunghoon knew.

"don't be shy with me now, princess." he grabs her hips closer to his. he unbuckles his belt with one hand, as he caresses her chin with the other. "i've trained and worked with you for so long, i know your body well."

y/n could only lowly grin, whispering a series of cooes as he kisses her slowly. his kisses distract her with the stretch of her insides, and y/n had to admit she never felt this size. she was surprised with how soft he handled her despite his sharp tongue.

"so tight." he whimpers as he gracefully holds onto her sides, admiring the view. "you want more?" he asks, "don't be shy."

"i told you already, hoon." she arcs herself, presenting her dimly lit body under him. "show me."

sunghoon smirked, pushing himself all the way in. y/n moans, arching back as he continues to thrust deeper, and deeper.

"want you so bad, 'need you s'bad." was all he could muster, silencing her words with more kisses. he fucked her hard; so much that they kept reaching their high so they opted for more positions, and eventually sunghoon made her face the mirror. y/n could only whimper by his touch, and that response made him know it was okay.

"don't fucking ask me this again." as he thrusts deeply again, making y/n close. "hoon-" "i know, im also gonna-" "in me, please-" their breaths hitch as he releases, relieved to know that she could take it in without consequences.

the night was nowhere near young anymore, and the two were out of breath- washed up and lounging on the bed with sunghoon only in sweatpants and y/n in her undergarments pulling the sheets over eachother. "was i too harsh, baby?" he looks at the marks on y/n's hips and waist, only for y/n to crack a smile. "maybe, but it felt good.. way too good." her tone sleepy, pulling herself closer to his body.

sunghoon wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead as he rubs his thumb around on her back. "i love you." was all he could muster as he whispers to her, watching her drift away in his arms. his core becomes warm, and his demeanour changes, softening- and he smiles, snuggling into her hair.
