so first post 🥲, when I draw my characters I usually draw how I think they would look more realistically, I basically drew what I would think tiger would look like without the cartoonish part, he would def still have his red hair but with time it definitely fades, and I’m pretty sure he would have moles irl (also if your wondering why the drawing looks light the opacity is low)

and right now I’m working on another drawing of him but this time it will actually look like him, just give me a couple of years to finish it 😔✊

y’all I’m feeling so burnt out rn😭 I have so much to post and do, but I always end up just scrolling through tiktok or smth.. like I am so cooked when school starts☹️

anyway, I guess I deserve it… heh… :)

Today in class, one of my colleagues decided to put on a very patriotic Malaysian song because my lecturer let us choice what song(s) to put behind the background while in class. Everyone was cheering and singing (either sarcastically, enthusiastically or passionately) when the song was playing, like it was "Hari Merdeka" or some special occasion. It was cool. :)

That being said:

Do you guys think the Supa Strikas Boys would put on and BLAST Patriotic South African music and sings their hearts out to let the world know how much they are proud playing for the Badge, even if no one is watching???

Or, rarely at days, they put on Patriotic South African music before practice or a match to boost themselves up? Or remind them what they are playing for?? Like, "Strika Chord S7E12" kinda made it canon that most of them have rhythm, and some of them can sing, when they were cheering up Shakes and tighten their bond more. I wouldn't be surprise if this is one of the things they would do to boost themselves up together. (Cool Joe would have a WILD GOOD TIME with his singing skills, while Blok give a good beatboxing rhythm for them, or shred the Bass with North, as he shred on a electric guitar. Everyone else have some music skills they know.)

Do you guys also think that each and every one of them, who is from outside South Africa, would put on their respective regional songs, and sing their hearts out as well, and the others would hype them up because they know how important it is to remind where your roots are?? And be proud of who you are and where you're from????

I've been thinking this for a while after my class was finished- :')

Yesterday, in my college, me and my two friends teamed up and did a presentation about Brand/Company Logos. And one of them is dedicated to “Animasia Studios”, which is responsible for animating “Supa Strikas”. (I've chosen that one, guess why? ;D )

When one of my friends was presenting the history of Animasia Studios, (they did great btw!) and was finished, I was “disappointed” that they didn’t mention Supa Strikas- 

So I put myself to do it!  When it was my turn to present, about the comparisons between Animasia’s Studios’ logo and two other companies, in Animasia Studios’ section, I talked about its type being an Animation Company, and mentioned animated shows they’re responsible animating (and made), like “Kampung Boy”, “Chuck Chicken”, “Harry & Bunnie”. Then I finally mentioned “Supa Strikas”-

I told the class “That part wasn’t important to the presentation at all, I just want to tell you that fact for my PRIDE-” And then my lecturer cheered for me after saying that. Something like, “Woah, yeah, DO IT FOR YOUR PRIDE!”. (I had a big smile on my face- 😭)

I was so Proud for doing that. :)

{FUN FACT: The two other companies that my friends chose were "Mojang Studios" and "The North Face". Reason? One of them plays Minecraft regularly with friends and passionate about it, and the other likes hiking and going outdoors. I guess the three of us just chose the company based on our interests- Being honest, we were SO Real for that 😭}

Because you can take the girl out of Star Wars but you can't take the Star Wars out of the girl.

And I just stole Jecki Lon's profile lmaoooo and I am not sorry. ISTG Tiger is just someone who would dual wield blue lightsabers. I also HC that his fighting style is a combination of Jecki Lon's and Ahsoka Tano's. He would also do the Twisting Tornado which surprises his enemies. He uses Force Speed a lot because canon may have forgotten about that skill but I haven't so I'm giving that to Tiger. He is an exceptional student.

Would I turn this into a series? YES. Do I have plans in drawing Padawan Miko? I DO. What about the other members, are you going to draw them as well? YES, I AM.

I probably forgot to draw something. I can feel it in my stomach.

I find him difficult to draw so this isn't my best work so I just decided to give him a pretty lightsaber to compensate for that.

Cheeky little nod to Cheese, Lies, and Videotape in those HCs I put up on the corner. I will draw that (or something like that) soon. I will first draw North Shaw. I have something cool in store for him.

I also realized that I enjoy drawing High Republic Era lightsabers; I mostly draw about the Age of Rebellion and almost never draw any High Republic sabers. It was also tempting to draw them as Rebels but I really do not like to entertain the idea of then having go through Order 66.

I REWACTHED "SEPAK ATTACK S6E4" FOR THIS. CAN YOU TELL???? ALSO:

They REALLY name the Stadium that held the Sepak Takwar Event, "STADIUM MERDEKA"- Which just translates to:

"INDEPENDENCE Stadium"- (Edited after correction!)

"Merdeka" literally just means "Independence" in Bahasa Melayu-

Kinda ironic and an coincidence for today- And because Animasia Studios is from Malaysia. I wonder if this the people from Animasia Studios decision, or the writers/concept artists outside Animasia to name the stadium that.

This isn't really important- But I've been thinking this since I first watched and notice it in "Sepack Atack S6E4".

(GOING TO BE VERY PERSONAL IN THIS PARAGRAPH-) I will say, it took me awhile to accept my nationality self when I was younger, because always grow up thinking, "You're only special and stand out if you were "English", from a country that is Native Language is English, or any other country that isn't in Southeast Asia." But growing up and surrounding myself with loving and accepting people, I slowly accept myself and falling in love with this country again, despite of it's many flaws.

Malaysia isn't a perfect country, that's the truth. There are many things I would criticize so Malaysia can be a better, safer and inclusive country. In my opinion, I think it's getting better (at least I hope it is-), so I hope it will continue getting better on, in the future. But, of course, despite the terrible things that happens in Malaysia, my love is always towards the people, culture, ecosystem, etc. of this country. Originally, I wanted to make a drawing for the "Sepak Takwar Trio", with them wearing traditional clothing from different cultures in Malaysia (Pretty much Headcanons for them). Unfortunately, I don't have time... So I decided to make a little short edit of them instead! ✨💛💜✨ (I'M SO SERIOUS AND UNSERIOUS WHEN I MADE THE EDIT YESTERDAY- 😭😭 ) Maybe next year I will do the drawing 👀👀

I finished this yesterday, actually, but decided to post tomorrow (that is today) because I finished this at night time. and the quality of the pictures in that lighting was BAD- SO, HERE'S A DECENT LIGHTING QUALITY I TOOK THIS MORNING~~~ :D ✨✨✨

These drawings were sitting in my college sketchbook for a few weeks now. So I decided to finish them and share it! :3 (I think the Supa Strikas Community needs them, DEARLY-)

There are a few smudges I accidently made- Tried to salvage them the best as I could. (I guess I did my best????)

His name being spelt 🌩Sunny Hellström🌩 is so FREAKIN' RAD!! I LOVE IT SOOO MUCH!!! 🔥🔥🔥

(Also, as somebody who took Color Theory Class, I think the reason his color scheme, somehow, clash well together is because he is following a color scheme in the color wheel.

His main dominant color is Brown; being his hair and outfit mostly. And balances that with blue (Tie and Eyes) and yellow (Undershirt and Badge).

Now, according to the color wheel, Brown (most at times) is just a darker shade for Orange (sometimes Brown can be also a darker shade of red or yellow, it depends). So using this fact, Sunny Hellström color scheme is following the 'Split Complementary Scheme'!

According to the internet: "Split complementary colors are those that are adjacent to the complementary color on the color wheel."

So Why Sunny's color scheme just fits so well with the DOMINATE Brown with the blues and yellows, is because it follows directly according to this color scheme in color theory!

Also, the fact they don't overuse the 3 main colors together, and stick brown as his dominate color, is actual a really smart decision, because it's better that way so it won't be distracting for people to look at him. People who worked on Supa Strikas using those 3 main colors for this guy's design is actual a perfect example of how to use color theory! :)

Now, I'm not sure they intentionally or not made this decision by actually using color theory, or it's just a coincidence. Regardless, they did a great job with his color scheme and balance it out! :) But, really, I won't be surprised if this WAS INTENTIONAL- People worked on the show are VERY talented people, and deserve their flowers for it! Especially when making character designs in the recent seasons. (This is my opinion- I think they did a fantastic job on recent designs on characters in the show. This comes from a person who is EXTREAMLY PASSIONATE in Character Design, and has been wanting to MASTER it since she was 13. :) ✨💜💛💜💛💜💛💜✨)

im not the biggest fan of this man, however i think his colour palette is an interesting combo of colours, like they don’t clash each other and whatnot (idk colour theory so)

p.s. — his full name is canon in the show, however i don’t really think there’s an official spelling of his surname, so i found the closest surname that’s pronounced in the show: ‘hellström’!
