“I would’ve had breakfast ready, but you were sleeping on my arm, and I didn’t want to wake you.” and taeyong please! ❤️

Taeyong was the best boyfriend you’d ever had, even if this relationship was still rather new. He was cute and affectionate, always ready to listen to you, open to communicating. He was great and, though it was probably too early to actually say it, you loved him.

And the night before was the first time that you’d spent the night at his place. You came over after you got off work, right as he was getting home from the studio. You’d sat together at the small kitchen table and eaten ramen together, laughing and talking in hushed voices so you wouldn’t disturb his roommates. You ranted to him about your day, and Taeyong ranted to you about his and played you a little bit of the song he’d been working on tonight.

By the time you stand up to leave, Taeyong takes your hand and in a quiet voice, he asks you to stay.

“It’s really late. I don’t think you should be out there by yourself when it’s late and you’re already tired. Just stay here.” He swings your joined hands. “My bed’s plenty big enough for the both of us,” he offers.

Taeyong’s gentlemanly and cute as he leads you into his bedroom, digs out an oversized shirt for you to put on, and he turns his back to let you change but you excuse yourself to the bathroom instead. And when you slip the shirt over your head, it’s soft against your skin, and you can’t resist pulling the material of the collar up to your nose and inhaling.

The shirt is comfy and soft and smells like detergent, like Taeyong, and you tuck your smile into the collar before catching sight of yourself in the bathroom mirror, grinning like a fool.

He’s already in bed by the time you come tiptoeing back into his bedroom. Taeyong’s slid to the far side of the bed, tapping at his phone, but he sits it aside as your knees bump into the edge of the bedframe, and he reaches over to throw the covers back.

There was nothing really too special about the moment--your first time sleeping with Taeyong--it was just slipping between his warm sheets, your icy feet bumping together with his, and Taeyong’s arms clutching around you, his lips on your forehead with a whisper of “goodnight.”

Maybe it’s one of the best sleeps you’ve had in ages because you sleep deeply and don’t wake until the morning is nearly over. As you open your eyes you can see the blurry numbers of a clock, showing that it’s quarter after eleven. You stay like that for a few minutes, slowly waking, and even then you probably wouldn’t have moved from the comforting warmth of Taeyong and his bed if not for the growl that rumbles from your stomach.

“I’m hungry.” You mumble, pushing yourself upright, reaching to smooth at your messy hair, discreetly wiping your face and hoping that you didn’t drool.

Taeyong’s fingers are gentle, stroking your wrist and then even risking a touch to the strip of skin between the top of your panties and the bottom of the shirt where it’s ridden up. You shiver lightly, and Taeyong sits up, his fingers dipping under the shirt, his whole hand disappearing as he moves his touches to your belly. He lowers his lips to your shoulder, a gentle kiss.

“I would’ve had breakfast ready, but you were sleeping on my arm,” Taeyong murmurs, his lips again placing a small kiss and another and another in a line over your shoulder to your throat. “And I didn’t want to wake you.”

“Breakfast in bed?” You ask, turning your head to the side, trying to see his face.

Taeyong hums. “I had it all planned out in my head. Everything I was going to make for you, and then you rolled over, right on my arm. You made this little sighing sound, and it was so cute. How could I move then? And waking you up? Out of the question.” He goes to kiss your cheek, but you turn your head at the last second, and the kiss lands on the corner of your mouth.

Taeyong pulls back a bit, and then he’s kissing you again, soft and lazy morning kisses that make you want to melt back into his bed, pull him over you, and not leave this bed for hours and hours.

But then your stomach growls once more, and Taeyong giggles, kisses you one last time, and then he’s climbing over you off the bed. He offers you his hand and a smile. “Let’s go eat. We can come back to bed later.”
