Yes, season 4 was worthy of telenovela plot, but I liked it. I have soft spot for Taki and I will love anything related to him. It just feels amazing to read how well they communicate now, how MC is so open with him and they are just <3

Sharing love for Taki from KoP

One of the reasons I LOVE Taki from Kings of Paradise is how he breaks some otome tropes. Season two of Kings of Paradise is special because it focuses more on MC ( at least Taki’s route xD) Taki is there, but he’s more there to support MC to overcome all the feelings from her divorce. She overcomes them because she uses her own strength while Taki is there in case she needs some comfort and reassurance  <3

Now in usual otome trope, this would be jealous moment, current lover will be upset if MC sees her ex or thinks about him because he feels insecure. BUT, not Taki <3

T-T He feels secure in their relationship and he knows MC would never hurt him, he wants her to protect her from the pain of her past. Plus he knew that bastard of her ex is manipulator that wants to hurt her. He wants MC to know her own worth and that he loves her

He wishes he can do more about the her pain and guilt  but he understands that’s something she needs to overcome herself.

He’s there as a silent protector and reminds her she will always have his love <3
