I knew I’d seen this picture before when it appeared on my dash today - a link to its original posting is above. I know it’s the original post as the lady in the picture - Juliana - was a friend on here - an artist and model from Lisbon. She told me about the photoshoot and pointed me to her “secret” blog where she posted it and sent me a link about the Lisbon exhibition where it was shown. It’s a shame to see the work of someone you knew uncredited.

She was part of what I liked about tumblr when I was first here - the chance to chat and become friends with people you would never encounter in your normal life. Where else would boring engineers from the UK get into a “friendly tease and take the piss out of each other” relationship with a Portuguese alternative artist.

She fell madly in love with a guy from Lisbon who died after they’d been together for a year or so. She then disappeared from here. It would be nice to know that she’s doing ok.
