Meet
The Empress
The owner of the Solar Spire Casino and Resort and Las Vegas’ major crime lord, for as infamous as she is- unless you’re involved with her crime syndicate- no one knows anything about her. She stands as a mysterious figure, trying to keep to the shadows as she runs her “ empire”.
She isn’t Zephyr and Atlas’ bio mom, but she’s raised them as if they were her own… her own personal weapons, that is. The Empress has never seen them as children, but rather as two people she can mold to do her bidding.
She has always favored Zephyr, as he was the stronger of the twins. So when Zephyr threatened to run away, she punished him severely, then gave him a sliver of mercy by letting him leave the Solar Spire… as long as he works for her as her personal assassin. Once Zephyr was further from her reach, she turned her attention to Atlas, who was craving the moment his mother finally gave him the attention he deserved.
Time has passed, and now The Empress his faces with a problem: a young detective known for sniffing out crime lords. But it shouldn’t be an issue, since she has Zephyr to eliminate the problem, right?

Isamu is a smart ass and they know it. They’ve earned the title and hold it with a badge of honor. They are extremely intelligent, but struggle when it comes to combat.
They are put under Zephyr’s apprenticeship, and Isamu is less than thrilled. They came to the Solar Spire in hopes of getting a sponsorship from The Empress and they didn’t expect how much they would have to work for it…. or the price they would pay.
Isamu hates having to assist Zephyr, and while they’re happy to prove their worth to The Empress by spying on him… even if they feel wrong about doing so. Zephyr is an idiot but… Isamu can see how much he loves Orion, and they slowly begin to report to The Empress less and less. A few missing details from their reports wouldn’t hurt, right?
Isamu will have to make a choice: Pledge loyalty to The Empress or protect their new friends.
