I felt like adding to this list just to make fun of how consistent the characters I project onto is.
Me: There is definitely not a pattern to the characters I project onto.

I related to Gwen in atsv
her opening scene was me in high school
and her arc over the course of the film
where she learns to open up
to other people and heal from
her trauma
is exactly what I went through
(Later in life but still)
and annabeth chase
was the first fictional character
I projected onto and understood
that was what I was doing
related way too much to her in middle school when
I read the books for the first time
I wanted to have Leah as
the photo though
because she really is embodying
the annabeth chase I remember
such a good casting choice
