It's a shame we never saw the Vexos trying to adapt to Earth rules.
Diagonal correlation what? Multiple gate cards why? YOUR BATTLEFIELD IS IN ANOTHER DIMENSION?!
all these mfs who only know how to play with 1 gate card and spam abilities every round would be COOKED if they had to play by s1 rules.
spectra's mask would break itself in two once he realizes he can't just triple ability his way out of a battle and actually has to strategize for 2 seconds.

The battles just became so dull
Amd they tried to compensate for that by adding more and more gimmicks
By season 4 they seem to have completely lost it
Like what do you mean by you can summon giant mech suits as if they are some sort of divine deities
