I highly highly highly appreciate this. The conjuring movies are one of my favorite series, and once upon a time I did go searching for fanfiction and there are barely any. What a great surprise to wake up to. ❤️

Dream a Little Dream of Me

A/N: Set during The Conjuring 2

Summary: Lorraine has trouble sleeping without Ed. 

WC: 756 

“I don’t think I can sleep this far away from you,” Ed said, looking up at her from his side of the room.

“Well, you’re gonna. It’ll give you something to look forward to when we get home,” she smirked in response. 

“You know that isn’t going to help me sleep.”

“Goodnight, Ed,” she replied back with a small laugh and turned off the light. 

“Goodnight, Lorraine.”

Soon enough, Ed’s soft snores sounded throughout the small room. Lorraine could barely make out his figure in the darkness, but she saw him lying on his side… asleep. Something that wasn’t coming easy for her.
