The Instructions I Found Did Not Work And Were Too Vague - Tumblr Posts

I wanna share parts of my WIPs on here but every time I try and share a chunk of it I keep getting a character limit. The thing is I see posts that greatly exceed the limit that I keep getting. I'm so confused on how on earth they're doing it. I tried looking it up and got nowhere. Can anyone help me figure this out?
