The Mandalorian S3 - Tumblr Posts
You know, to think about it, it IS pretty hilarious how the book of boba fett has ended.
Like, sure, it was awsome, Din and Grogu met again, Boba is the Daimyo of Tatooine now and there probably will be a season 2 but... that ending-- I just can't imagine how things will go from now on y'know?? What will they even DO in the mandalorian season 3 ????
Literally EVERYONE who didn't watched tbobf won't know what the actual fuck just happened. To them, it's like Din and Grogu just had an emotionally devastating goodbye and "Somehow" they're back now??? What the fuck happened??? Where the fuck is that Jedi ???? Is this how Star Wars marketing is going to be like from now on???
And then there's Din. He just had an epic reunion with his son but what will he even Do now??? I don't know how Din found Luke or what Luke did after leaving the Imperial cruiser, but in ss2 Din just literally "returned Grogu to his kind"; the next time, he saw Grogu train with Luke and got denied visiting rights... but now his kid is somehow here on Tatooine???????? What is he gonna do next????
Keep bounty hunting???
Visit the planet Luke was on in ep6??? To what?????
What about Mandalore and the Darksaber????? Is he gonna become King of Mandalore now??? How is he going to learn how to use the Darksaber????
Actually, what even happened with Bo-Katan??????? I thought she wanted the Darksaber??????
And personally asking but WHERE THE FUCK IS LUKE??? Artoo kinda mentioned they were in a hurry right ??? Did he receive Jedi missions from Leia or sth ??? I know he isn't a kind of person who would just drop the kid down alone on fucking Tatooine. But then What is he up to then???????????? ? ?? ? ?? ? ?? ? ?? ? ?
(Btw how did Luke know Din was on Tatooine?? Can he or maybe Grogu... force track people across the galaxy now...?)
Oh, but Din Din is pretty, too š¤©
The Armourer to Bo-Katan: You may remove your helmet. Din: What? Why is she exempt? The Armourer: She is pretty. Din: What? The Armourer: Err...I mean, she can walk both ways. Din: That's a thing? The Armourer: Yes, totally a real thing, not made up at all. Din: Can I do that? The Armourer: ...No.
***THE MANDALORIAN S3E7 SPOILERS***
Did they serve up the baby dragons as dinner?!

so true, there's no way she isn't a lesbian š
"they're hinting at a relationship between din and bo-katanā" first of all that woman is a lesbian
Anyone that supported the theory that The Armorer had betrayed the Mandalorian's and was a spy owes her an apology.
I don't make the rules.
oh absolutely. iād say itās a near-certainty. we know bo-katan is planning a revolution and sheās a pretty polarizing figure. iām sure there are lots of mandalorians out there who Will Not Like That. there also seems to be some sort of (possibly one-sided) preexisting rivalry between bo-katanās political faction and dinās religious faction which iām sure is going to come up later.
a civil war would basically be the culmination of the recurring question of what makes a mandalorian (do they have to wear the helmet? be ethnically mandalorian? is it a religous, political, or racial group or a combination?) because any contender for mandāalor has to prove to the others that theyāre truly mandalorian. which makes din as a (reluctant) contender quite interesting because not only is he a foundling, now that heās taken off his helmet he probably doesnāt consider himself mandalorian anymore.
this is pure speculation but they could POTENTIALLY be gearing up for another mando civil war with bobf and mando s3, because we now have A) a claim to the throne by Din that is definitely going to be contested by a lot of people, himself included, B) a historically very politically powerful and ambitious leader who represents a āscornedā faction of Mandalorians in Bo-Katan, and C) Boba Fett, who presumably now controls Hutt Space (? or is it just outer rim territory? I canāt remember) and will probably be roped into the conflict purely based on the fact that he has resources, people, and territory at his disposal regardless of how he feels about Mandalore itself. Add all of that onto the fact that afaik Mandalore has no current ruler now that the Empire is gone and a huge diaspora that is probably eager to return home now that theyāre not under the thumb of imperial rule. This would also follow the eternal cycle of āitās like poetry, it rhymesā Star Wars is obsessed with following, so a capstone civil war is probably gonna happen soon-ish. also lends itself to lots of entertaining action scenes, rule of cool, etc

rushed to make this as soon as I finished the episode
āThen I will adopt him as my own!ā

Finally we watched the Mandalorian and immediately thought about Maul. Well he definietly sits more comfortable than Bo-Katan.
(She is like 'Fuck this. This is MY fucking throne no matter how uncomfortable I WILL SIT HERE.)
