Rookie Recap 6x9.
It started chaotic, everyone was involved, then got boring real fast.
1. The Rookie feds next week? My gosh the show was canceled for a reason. Let it go. 🙄
2. Where was Aaron? 🤔🫢
3. No Tim? I mean it makes sense to the story, he’s on leave, but, the show is noticeably different when he’s gone
4. No one acknowledging Lucy’s birthday. Nolan showed up at her house & it couldn’t be the first words out of his mouth? 😒 Why do they all hate her so much?
5. I’m so sick of Monica. She looks like the main character and it’s so annoying.
6. The elevator scene was nice. Tim was right, Lucy’s superpower is Empathy. That’s so rare to find unconditional empathy in a human. I love Lucy 🦋
7. I was expecting a cliff hanger? There wasn’t one. Not in my opinion.
8. Why do I still feel like Lopez & Harper are cold with Lucy?
I don’t like how .. like ANYTHING has been written this season …. ..
I’m back on my bull today and I wanna talk about how Chenford are probably the best each others had and that’s why they’re always so game to play. In the shower, during uc ops in questionable laundry rooms … probably in Tim’s truck ..

In the sneak peak, Aaron is writing out a list of Yes, No, Maybe dirty cops and everyone’s name is on the No column EXCEPT Lucy …????? WTF
GREY IS ON THE NO LIST, LOOK AT THE SECOND PHOTO. Every MAIN cop character is on the No list BUT Lucy.
Hell they wrote Smitty & Nickerson on the No

Tim ACKNOWLEDGED he ruined everything (which HE DID) and then said he will spend THE REST OF HIS LIFE making it up to her in whatever doses SHE allows, bc he KNOWS she can only take him little by little right now (I mean she couldn’t even be in the same room as him)
He KNOWS he screwed up AND that it’s HER decision now how they move forward.
We obviously know they’re gonna make them endgame, so this is the right direction.
What’d y’all expect??? Her allowing him access to her after he shattered her heart??? Nah huh. Doesn’t work like that.
ps. we got Tim admitting Lucy’s the best he’s ever had so a win is a win
The only thing annoying for the future is we have to keep watching to they get renewed for Season 8, because it sounds like they’re gonna slow burn Chenford is season 7.

I feel like we all didn’t understand it the same way, and that’s fine so I guess I’ll explain my perspective bc this is interesting…
I can’t understand why some of you genuinely think it was supposed to be them getting back together…? Like …? She couldn’t be in the same room as him just 2 episodes ago …?
Some people are saying it was “too platonic” ….
UM. Yeah!? It’s supposed to be platonic. He doesn’t have the right to insinuate anything romantic bc HE broke up with HER. You guys seem to be forgetting their friendship was severely damaged by all of this and THAT has to be repaired before ANYTHING romantic happens again. Tim is still in early stages of therapy, it would make NO SENSE for him to insinuate romance. Especially when we got him acknowledging “I ruined everything so I will make it up however YOU ALLOW” shows he knows it’s at HER PACE bc she was the one who was wronged and RIGHTFULLY SO, now has boundaries up around him.
Maybe I’m still too pro Lucy rather than Tim for this breakup but this is REALISTIC for how they’ve written the breakup…
Lucy DESERVES to put up walls with Tim and have her space. He SHATTERED HER HEART GUYS. No he doesn’t get to kiss her or say I love you or anything right now.

This show is so over. It’s sucks how much it’s fallen. Not surprised tho, the writing for S6 was terrible, ruined just about every character and let’s not even start on the awful Chenford writing of S6

I wish I could let this go so I could enjoy the show/ship as the silly thing it is. But I can't.
