This is a little different? Hfjdj it's sort of an introduction to my main original story, "The sad song of the lonely moon." I'm so nervous posting this hhh :(( Since I know most of you are here for haikyuu I'm sorry :(
Mallory
Mal is one of the protagonists to the story ahhh (His full name is Mallory Lóng xiē qiáng 龙蝎强 ) He has a tired but soft bastard kind of personality is how I'll best describe it.
He is an incredibly strong close-combat demon, like most of my demon OCs, he works for the notorious demon mafia. Despite the name, the mafia was by no means an evil organisation. They weren't afraid to get involved in dirty work or dabble in illegal activities but they were actually pretty welcomed amongst humans. This was namely because they acted as protectors of sort against the reign of the angels?? Angels aren't very good people in my universe
In my universe, demons possess a vast range of physical adaptations/abilities. Most demons have wings, wings however, whether demon or angel, were easily hide-able at the will of the individual.
Mal's tail is extremely sharp, much sharper than any machine-made blade. At the end of his tail is a stinger/barb like tip that is able to secrete a venom that is lethal in certain doses. Mal who was able to control that said dose could easily kill anyone who got cut or stung by it.
This explains his chinese name, 蝎, meaning Scorpion, and his tattoo.
In small doses, his venom only left the victim momentarily paralysed but in danger if the poison was left to set for too long. The only way to fully save the victim was for Mallory to directly absorb the venom back out with one of his feathers.
Miles
Some more background in relation to the story!! In this universe, there are two main groups of demons. The demon-born and the demonised. As the name suggests, demon-borns are individuals who are demons by blood. The demonised are individuals who are made demons by either demon-borns or those who wield dark magic. Miles is an examples of a demonised-demon. In fact, he's a demonised angel. His angel name was Maskiel, and he was once part of the 7 archangels.
The scars you see covering his body are actually light burns. They are a signature injury from angels, who wield light magic, and do not hurt when given but hurt at the will of those who inflicted the burn.
Demons are often seen as tormented souls who have fallen from the grace of god. People believe that demons are created based on the belief that it is easier to be ruled by hatred and greed than to live by morals that are typically associated with “good”. However, while this is the perception that angels and humans live with, in actuality, their nature and actions are shaped by their environment, experiences, much like the human spectrum of personalities.
The common misconception people have of demons is that they are inherently evil or bad. However, what distinguishes demons from angels are primarily their appearance and core magic.
Their powers thrive on negative energy, negative emotions/trauma the main driving force to their power. Regardless of tier, the more emotions welled up within a demon, the stronger they are.
Hello!! It's my boys again!! This time with another character that appears in the story, YǔHéng (寓恒) or Elias!! I forgot to mention that most of the main characters are Chinese some way or another;; It's set in a post-nuclear, futuristic dystopia, the world has fallen to ruins and many countries are now taken over by angels.
This story in particular takes place in Singapore hhhng, since I'm Singaporean-Chinese myself I wanted to make more OCs close to home!! The family that runs the mafia are mainly of Chinese heritage and descent.
They may be demons but they also celebrate Chinese New year and uphold certain traditions etc!! Their most notable bloodline feature is their golden horns and distinct red stripe-like markings. They're known as the "金虎" (jīn hú) , which translates to golden tigers. Their family name/last name is "虎", which means they're also known alternatively as the Hú family.
I mentioned in my story that demons have coexisted with humans for millennias!! Demons are really just beings with supernatural capabilities and different physical attributes!! Miles is not of Asian heritage to say the least but that's not important hhhhh
Also btw!! The tattoo on Mallory's neck reads "心" (xīn), heart in Chinese ahhhh, demons rely more on feelings, gut and intuition rather than their brain HDHSHS I wanted Mallory to embody that since he grew up in a terrible environment??
Mallory teaches miles what it means to be capable of feeling though not directly, the story actually revolves around Miles' backstory, Mallory is the character that spurs Miles' character development;;
In Singapore many of us speak two or more languages, the mafia mainly converses in Chinese and Chinese dialect (Hokkien) but all of them are fluent in English too.
Hi, it's mallory in sexy bunny suit, not Iwa, he's an OC and yeah, spiky hair, but it's Mallory, malmal, or moonshine if referred to by Miles Hi, sorry this is a minor edit: Forgot to mention he's Cassius' adoptive dad, or rather he's the one who raised Cassius. He isn't proud of the life he's lead or the decisions he's made, but Cassius was the one thing in his life he was proud of

Each universe is differentiated by the different background of each Characters
The black background houses 2 main stories in the same universe, "Cigarettes, blood & ladybugs" [Cassius/Jayce-centric] and "The sad of the lonely moon." [Mallory/Miles-centric] It's the universe with demons, angels and human :D
Those with the orange-yellow background belong in a "normal" slice of life kinda universe? No supernatural stuff just regular people;; It's the universe of Enzo and Diesel, their story is titled "I'll love you like the summer rain." It's also the same universe for my youtuber OCs!! Cheol and Fish;;
Those with the turquoise background belong to my futuristic dystopia universe, it focuses around Lachlan, Kai and Alex, but Lachlan in particular. He's a hitman for hire.
Those two with the dark-blue background are my among us OCs!! Acer and Lee;;
Purple background babies are OCs for a possible future webtoon;; it's about Milo a modern day demon and Blaine, an ancient demon who was thrown into the present due to some unfortunate circumstances;; There are only demons and humans in this universe;;
Last batch of babes with the pinkish background are my band OCs!! Their band name is called electricvenom and they were originally Pokémon trainer OCs that I changed a little instead hfjdjdj

Imagine dying in each other's arms, that's kinda sus 🙄🙄🙄 - (I'm kidding dhsjjsjsj;; it's 1:20am I am dying, also u may be thinking why give Miles' eyepatch 🤬🤬🤬 Jayce already has an eyepatch 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 well I can't fucking draw the other eye so I decided eye gone for Miles too 🥰🥰🥰) - Also I took the Myer Briggs personality test for them and well, Miles is an INTJ (Architect - the most common villain archetype) and Mallory is an INFP (Mediator - same as me which means sensitive and cry a lot) 😔😔
So, Miles is really hecka smart? Like almost terrifyingly so when it comes to strategising, conversing or even winning someone's trust,,, the thing is, he's pretty much dumb as hell when it comes to technology because he comes from a different time where technology is practically non-existent He learns fast but it still does take him awhile and Mal likes teasing him about it fhdjjd Also hi, ignore the kinks ;)) - Been thinking about reworking the entire lore of the demiverse again but djdjsjsj;;
"Do you believe in reincarnation?"
"That's a lot coming from you." Mallory uses his tails to cleanly open the cans of beer he had bought moments prior. He passed one off to Miles, finding himself repositioned next to the angel. "I entertain the thought of it."
"Believing in it is another thing." He takes a sip, nearly gags but composed himself enough to nudge the other's side. He enjoyed moments like these. Sure he hated the beer, but it always did seem a little sweeter when it was just the two of them under the lonely moon, listening to it's sad song as the world unfolded before them.
"What do you think happens after death?"
Mallory looks at the angel in a way that Miles could only assume to be mild confusion. Not once does he turn to make eye contact with the demon, instead taking a drag out of his cigarette, burning the flicker of the stars into his hollow soul.
There is a peace to the quiet that erupts. Mallory too takes a drag out of his cigarette, leaning into the railings, sighing.
"Nothing."
The two of them bathed in the moonlight as cars roared below their feet.
"Why obsess with the idea of death when people like us can barely find what it means to live?"
One could say that the city beneath their feet was alive because of those who inhabit it, but maybe they were just pieces in a grander scheme bigger than themselves trying so desperately to find meaning in each crevice that laid the land.
"死有余辜." A pause. "Death doesn't get rid of the crimes that fester even when a soul dies."
"The living continue living."
Miles just chuckles, a genuine one. It was safe to say he was far from bored whenever he found himself conversing with the demon. Mallory Long was just that interesting to Miles,and he couldn't seem to get enough of it.
"Do you not think death frees you of your sin?"
"Is living not more of a punishment than death?"
"Maybe you're just frustrated with your lack of reason to live that you fixate yourself on what it means to die."
For the first time since the two of them began their conversation, Miles brings himself to stare at the demon who had a blank look gazing into the night.
"You don't need to have a rational reason to live."
"Wanting to wake up and drink that cup of tea is a reason nonetheless isn't it?"
In our next life.
Been thinking a lot about the ending of their story;; I kinda wanted it to be a sad ending where no one really gets a happy ending they want;; that being said, I was thinking that in an alternate timeline, or a different life, the two of them meet again and fall in love just like they once did,, living the life they could never have in their past lives Side note;; let me explain their design choices for their "next lives"
Mal still has his scar but not any of his tattoos
Miles has a portwine birthmark on his face and his platinum blonde hair
In the "canon" universe, Miles was also platinum blonde before he was demonised, in this alternate reality, since demons and angels don't exist, I decided that it was best for him to have his original hair colour hdjsjdj

Michael is Miles' angel name. He adopts Miles' as a cover name but eventually he adopts it as his "real name" and it sticks for all his other "lives"
The two of them would own a quite place by the beach in this happy universe,,
both were ex-military, Mallory instead of a bar, unlike in "canon", owns a tea shop.
Miles writes novels based on his lucid dreams, aka memories of his past life.
!! Finally done 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I ended up cutting some Pokémon from the final because I'm lazy 🥲 For miles, he'd also have spiritomb and sableye!! For Mallory, he'd have alolan meowth and Zorua :))) - [also important side note but their heights here aren't accurate lol, Mal is around 185+ and miles is around 205-ish, some of my older drawings have a more accurate representation of their height diff;;]

Hi, this is meant to be a hurt/comfort piece;; I reveal a lot more of Miles character here??? Idk fjzndn - I think Miles' and Mallory's relationship is a little complicated in some ways. They're both very reserved people but somehow there's a longing to know the other better when they're together
Trigger warning: Suicidal thoughts In one of my previous posts of them, I kinda talked about the idea of death and Miles' constant yearn for it. Being in purgatory/ the in between for so long made him this hollow vessel that craved a release. It's not an immediate thing, but I wanted to portray Miles' slow will to live, for Mallory who showed him warmth and pulled him out of that "emptiness". I think it's his love for Mallory that made him want to to live for himself as well, to be a person that his lover deserved in a world that was already do cruel Mallory kinda made him realise that the biggest "fuck you" to the world was to live in it
