I drew an art of my OC
This is Tee, a demonic child born from souls of children abandoned in the forest by their parents during the hunger years (when they realised that they won't survive with them anyways, kinda like that Genzel and Gretel's story). Most of the children didn't survive in the forest, either. I will explain how demons work in my setting in the future, but, for now: yes, Tee eats people or feeds on their fear. She (well, technically, demons have no understanding of gender, so Tee is more a they/them) looks like that because she subconsciously made herself to look like everything "cute" to trick people, but without any real understanding how human children look like so irl she looks pretty unsettling and creepy. That's not her real form anyways.
I see all the flaws in this drawing, but I drew it with my finger on my phone, and if I kept trying to improve it any further I would just never finish it. I am much more skilled with paper and pencil than with colours or drawing the lineart by my finger... It's not perfect, but it's a result, and this is important for improvement!

“true love” this, “endgame” that. what about “compelling dynamic that’s fun to explore”
(girl with adhd voice) yeah i just love in fiction when a character has a superpower thats also a disability. like a power that changes how they interact with the world in exciting ways but also has terrible drawbacks to their daily life. no real reason why
no more cold and calculating i want warm and calculating. i want characters who use deductive reasoning to figure out whether their friend would like a wool or cotton quilt based off of their lifestyle, career, hobbies, and habits. i want "your nails are often chipped because you work for a law firm as a typist for this company which notoriously underbudgets their IT department, so ive bought you a keyboard cover that will not only prevent manicure damage but is also sensory friendly because I know you dislike certain clicking noises". i want characters who figure out their friends entire schedules and social battery levels just by examining who only use that info to know when the best time is to hang out with them. i want characters who create elaborate, supervillain level schemes just to get their hands on some collectible they know their best friend wants. most of all i want characters who do not use intelligence and reasoning skills as a reason to be cruel but as a means to be kind
"the lost princess" trope gets reunited with her parents to live happily? nah. too boring.
the lost princess has to fight for her power. she's the only one left from the ruling family. her country, her motherland is in shambles, drowned in corruption and civil wars, and she's the one who can fix it. she's a gentle soul, really, but the only way she can rule this mess is with an iron fist. maybe she never wanted that. was this really her duty? or maybe the hunger for power was always inside her?
does this throne really belong to her?

more fictional women should be unapologetically evil and mean and horrible. i think that would really improve the world (my life)
