This song talks about how we are more than our religions and alignments, because how we act and what we do and say are our religions. Everything you do is your religion. The addition of the children’s choir with Jon’s powerful lyrics and voice really makes the emotions of this song stand out even more.

Love this song so much by Switchfoot. Especially in today’s political climate, I feel like this song is needed more so than ever. This version, the acoustic one with only Jon Foreman, has such a powerful impact, and it showcases the words perfectly. We make the world how it is, so every day is a chance to change the world. Everything we do has an impact, and it is in a way our religion.
