I don’t usually do stuff like this (write posts etc.) but the effect of 307 on me and as I can see the rest of the fans is just too much. I have hope of maybe changing the bad feeling the episode left us, in a way that is possible for a “happy” ending.

In the Conclave the girl from the Ice Nation is above the boy (the one Lexa thought had the most potential) and is about to kill him, becoming the next Comander. Clark intervens and doing so kills the Ice Nation NightBlood. Titus then tries to insert the Spirit of the Comander into the boy but the Spirit (A.I.) rejects him and only reacts when touched by Clark. A clear sign the Spirit choose Clark as the new Comander. By definition this means SkyCrew and the Grounders are One people. Many events follow but in the end there is peace. Clarke never finds another love since she can not forget the pain of loosing Finn and then Lexa. In her time of solace she visits the City of Light where she and Lexa can finally be together.

For me this would be okay, life is f*cked up and tragedy does happen, so Lexa dying would just be a horrible event but not a trope, in the end they are together.
