What you said is giving “all lives matter.” You should consider what that person said, and yes marginalized groups deserve double protection in any way. It can be BOTH true that a character exists to entertain and as a representation. While they are fictional, they’re still based off of the marginalized groups that exist and STILL face discriminations daily.

It’s not that hard to understand that reverse-oppression doesn’t exist. Straight people get all the representation all the time. Why take it away from LGBTQ+ community when there are barely any good representations of them in the media that are not stereotyped?
