Got a lil' Welcome Home theory up in my head for ages!!

I've been thought'in about Home being connected to Wally's mental state of mind, that (excluding of the welcome home restoration team) Wally's neighbourhood being the resentment of his past that Wally just couldn't let go of, and much so many other theories I had' have in mind!
