I also have had the idea that Kubard was you ger then Shapur when he became a Marzban and that Shapur is a bit pissed because until now he was the youngest who ever became Marzban.

And of course Kubard would totally annoyed Shapur with the fact.

For me I think that the age Shapur became a Marzban is about 26/27? Maybe 28 so Kubard was one year younger (it didn’t matter even one month younger would be enough that Kubard would teased him endlessly 😂)

So Daryun is about 25/26 when he became a Marzban?

So I think that the age between 25 and 30 is a good age? Because they need some skills and experience to became such a high ranking knight.

So this are my thoughts about it and so in my theory Shapur was already a young Marzban when Osroes was king and maybe a young soldier under the the father of Osroes and Andragoras? 👀
