"Let me out of here!"
The words are garbled. The syllables are suffocated by soft chokes on blood and the man crying them is only creating himself further suffering. He's sniffling as stinging tears brim at his lashes, clinging to the soft hairs before dropping onto the dirt-smeared concrete under his head. There was no warmth here; Even the heat produced by his body left within seconds.
The screams wouldn't reach much further than the edge of the parking ramp. Back again, Felix was. This time with a new friend. He's squirming, screaming and thrashing and it's a genuine surprise he hadn't broken the handcuffs locked around his ankles. Were they really that strong? Hm - That was what he got for stealing them off a cop.
Felix stands in front of the brunet's head. The man had been squirming tiredly against the ground for the last two minutes and forty three seconds - and Felix had just been standing there, staring down at him with lidded eyes. Did he think he was going to get away? Not with how busted his head was already, that was for sure. And while he was unconscious, Felix had made sure to take care of one of his legs so if he did try to stand - he'd be out of commission within three steps.
Two months.
It had taken Felix two months to get the man in front of him into his grasp - and it had taken Felix two seconds to hit the fucker with a baseball bat so hard it created an echoing crack in the open field.
-
"I didn't know you were a fan of baseball." The brunet laughs softly as he barks out the words. His voice was naturally so loud but so kind - and Felix almost wished he could be so openly bold with his tone. But he was a soft-spoken individual and he was too timid to be able to laugh like that.
Felix's lips form a smile. "I'm not, really. But you invited me to play and I didn't want to say no to a new friend."
"Oh. Awe." The other man turned. He smiled, pressing a hand to his chest over his heart. Still beating. Still bleeding. Slamming in his ribcage and producing every single breath he took. "Well I'm glad you came. I think this'll give us a chance to learn more about each other."
He'd led Felix to the dugout. Brought him there so they could set their bags down and he could show Felix a proper swing. As the brunet was setting his items down and sorting out the few bats he had brought for Felix to try, the blond approached from behind. There's a moment where Felix only hears blood rushing through his ears, a constant and never-ending stream of red that flooded his head and clouded his vision when he got too angry.
"Could I try that one?"
The brunet turns. Round eyes crinkle when the man smiles and he nods, reaching to pick up the bat and hand it over to Felix. "Sure! It's a bit bigger than the other one and I know it's a little heavy - so if it's too much just uh, feel free to trade it for the other." He turns back, facing away from Felix to dig in his bag for his glove. He may have left it at home - or in his car.
Felix adjusts his grip on the bat when it's handed to him, spinning it in his palm as he lifts and then lets it go before he's comfortable. Wrapping his other hand around it, his fingers curl tight and he lifts it over his shoulder. Cold eyes meet the back of the pretty brunet's head, the blond's chest raising slowly and falling as he takes in the man in front of him. So clueless - So dumb.
He moves the bat slowly, eyeing up his swing. The tip of the bat brushes a few strands of brown hair before it retracts, back over Felix's shoulder. Then again, squaring it up as Felix closes one eye and lets out a breath.
"I think I left my glove in the car-" The sentence starts as the brunet turns, beginning to step like he's going to walk off to go grab the missing baseball item.
Crack.
The sound echoes in the field. It's the same as when one hits a baseball - the rippling of the bat hitting the ball and cracking upon impact. Felix sees the man in one second - the bat in the next - and an empty field in another.
-
"So you're not from around here."
"No, no. I moved here.. a couple of years ago? Uh - Five? Yeah, five years ago." Your eyes are shining in the dim lights of the bar and the man across from you finds himself absolutely enamored with your presence alone. He was proud of himself - joyous beyond belief that he had worked up the courage within himself to maneuver carefully around the corner of the bar and take a seat next to you. It was a miracle he'd pushed himself to start up a conversation - but you were so kind and your features, so soft. It was hard not to want to talk to you.
"Five years? That's a while ago, now. Do you like the area?"
"Um - Yeah! Yeah." You smile, the soft curl of your lips forming into a grin soon after. "Yeah, I do. It's a really nice area and all of the people I've met so far have been wonderful, so." Your eyes fall back on the man beside you and he offers you a kind smile, head tipping in interest.
-
"How did you meet her?"
The brunet turns his head. It's a struggled motion, one that proves difficult with his chin scraping the concrete and his cheek pressing to the ground once he's fully situated on his stomach. With his hands cuffed behind his back, and his ankles cuffed as well - any little movement proves to be a struggle. He can't see out of his right eye when he looks up at Felix, swallowing hard and gasping out.
His breathing turns quick, shallow. He's terrified of the smiling man in front of him, blond hair draping over his face and concealing part of the freckles that scatter across his cheeks. "What?"
"When did you meet her?" Felix's tone never changes. He's not angry, nor is he really upset with the man in front of him. Not right now. His composure shows nothing but how calm he is, though his eyes - hold something else. They're dark, the whites almost completely cast out by the way he stares down at the man on the ground.
He has to think. "I... met her at a bar," He rasps. His throat aches from being unconscious, mouth open and breathing in hard as his body fought to wake him up at all. "Met her at a bar, we- ... we spent the night together."
Felix feels a burning of heat spread over his cheeks like a rash on one's palm from coming into contact with an allergen. White flashes over his vision and for a moment he can't see the brunet on the ground anymore, only focusing back on him when he blinks. You spent the night with this pest. That was where the soft mark on your neck had come from - the one you had been trying to hide that day two months ago when he had come into the coffee shop so smiley it was almost ridiculous how happy he had been to see you.
The sound of his knee cracking seems to ring through the empty parking ramp as Felix lowers to crouch. He lowers to the ground and stares in the brunet's eyes with a soft huff of breath. Who does he think he is? Who was he to think he could just - get at you like that? Moving so quickly, taking matters into his own hands. Felix would never do that to you; He worked at your pace and would wait as long as he needed to.
The sound of aluminum hitting concrete screams throughout the parking ramp. It pings a few times next to the brunet's head on the ground, threatening to hit closer and closer each time Felix slams the end of the bat down. He brings it down once more and catches a lock of brown hair underneath the end, pinning it to the concrete and tugging to make the man whimper.
"You left a mark on her."
Felix's voice is unforgiving; It's never been so low, laced with malice and hatred and utter disgust as he growls out the words. He's never felt so threatened by someone in his life - the moment he saw the mark on your neck was the moment he knew he needed to start taking control of the situation.
He was more than willing to move at your pace, your speed, your want for things - but he's done waiting around. He's done letting you get away with so much. If you'd met a man two months ago and let him suck on you like a lollipop in one night, what else could you have done in that two month period? Where could you have gone? Are you fooling around with other men, too?
He'll put an end to it, but first he needs to put an end to him.
"No! No-!" The brunet's screams fill the empty space around them as Felix brings the bat down once on his head, then another time for good measure. It's not enough damage and as the other cries out he tries to tuck his head towards his chest in an effort to keep himself safe. Without his hands and unable to move his arms, he can't do much to protect himself. So he just screams, begging for the other to stop hitting him.
Felix reels the bat back. Instead of over his shoulder, he pulls it above his head and holds it there a moment. He's never felt so... feral. So demented. With eyes wide, dark and wild, he stares down at the man on the ground, blood pooling and cheeks blotched with red from his sobs and pleas for mercy.
"Come on, Jisung. Cry for help!"
There's a choke as the bat comes back down, harder than the previous hits before. There's no chance for the other to cry out in an attempt for rescue before the life leaves his body with a jolt and a huff of breath.
-
"Oh my God--"
A soft breath of air escapes your lips. The paint coating the wall is so cold against your bare shoulders behind you, only coming off as a further chill compared to the man's lips against your throat. You can feel his tongue pressing against your skin, soft and wanting - like the hands that grip at your waist over the fabric of your dress. He's unrelenting, yet so kind. Grabbing and pulling you in closer and pressing his lips to your skin over and over.
You only allow him to leave the one mark on your neck, deciding instead to bring him back into a kiss so heated the depths of Hell are raging. Your hands cup around his face to keep him close and he's so... delightful. So soft, so warm. So passionate. He's not doing this just for fucks and giggles - he wants you.
-
Felix stares.
He's done. Until he's not.
How had you looked when he'd rest his hands on your waist? How had your expression twisted when he's laid his lips on your skin to make you whimper and gasp. Like a cry for help; something of need, of sin.
Felix swings the bat down again.
Had you ever thought of him when it had happened? Had you pictured it to be himself instead of Jisung, letting him touch you in your most vulnerable state and caress your body like you were nothing short of a Goddess to worship?
Again.
Why had you let him touch you that way? Jisung wasn't stopping in every day to see you. He wasn't taking note of the drinks you liked, how you spoke to your friends vs how you talked to him; How you hesitated to turn on the light of your apartment when you got home so people wouldn't be able to tell where you lived.
Again.
Something spatters against his sneakers and he stops.
The bat is so cold in his hands, but when he drops it to the ground and lets it clang, rolling until it hits a familiar chair nearby and comes to a halt, he realizes his skin is cold as well.
He's never done something like this before. He swears, he's never done anything like this out of anger. Changbin was only because he was getting too close to you - and Jisung was just... Just because - you were letting him crawl all over you for God knows how long in those two months Felix had let it drag on.
He takes a step back. The platforms of his converse dig into the gravel trickled along the broken structure, crunching it into the ground and grinding it down. Felix watches the red pool come his way and continues avoiding it with soft steps backwards. He sucks in a breath that he soon finds to be extremely shaky and he moves back again, stumbling this time. He hits the ground with a soft thud and a huff of breath, jaw clenching at the impact on his rear. His hands lay against the concrete and as he watches the red catch up to him and coat the sole of his sneakers, he relishes in the warmth he imagines feeling against his skin. Not today - Sometime, maybe. But not now.
