they're serials! like tv shows or comics! meant to be read in progress i understand the bittersweetness of getting into a really good fic and discovering it's abandoned but some of my all-time favorite fics are abandoned i love them just the same fanfiction fic writing fic woes fanfiction writer fanfiction wip the anti-WIP culture is weirdddd this ironically probably leads a lot of fics to become abandoned bc of low engagement
